Mia's POV
Lorenzo! My heart rang his name and my eyes bulged with surprise. Delinda had indeed kept my company for so long that I didn't realize the day was far spent.
The gesture on Alpha Lorenzo's face was different. I guess he was surprised to see us chattering and laughing together.
“I am sorry for barging in. I didn't know you are having a nice time already. I wanted to check on you in case you are bored. I guess you aren't. I will take my leave now.” As a surprise was left on his face. His voice was sharp and I felt he quickly wrapped his words.
He wanted to say something more, but I could feel he kept it to himself. He feigned a smile on his face and he turned to take his leave. I didn't bother saying goodbye nor did I stand on my feet to see him off.
