Mia's POV
My heart beat increased. I could feel my body oozing some amount of sweat out of my skin. Lorenzo's grip tightened my hand and I felt he was a bit scared and at the same time, alert.
“Let's keep walking.” His voice came to my ears like a whisper and my body acted to it. My foot increased its pacing and we quickly walked through the darkness until we reached our mansion.
When we got to the front of the mansion, Lorenzo paused his feet and I also stopped walking.
