Lorenzo’s POV
My heart was beating fast as I rushed down to the pack’s clinic, I couldn’t believe someone had the guts to poison Mia, tears were threatening to fall from my eyes, my body was shaken, and I had never experienced this type of fear before, it felt like the whole world is closing up on me.
As soon as I stepped inside the clinic my eyes darted around, and I saw the pack doctor, he bowed before me immediately and moved closer to me. “Where is she? Tell me she is fine!” I screamed, and he exhaled deeply, I noticed he was quite shaken from the way I had screamed at him.
“We have successfully removed all the poison from her body, I am sure she will wake up soon” the doctor replied and this wasn’t the answer I wanted, I wanted him to tell me Mia was already up and walking around
