Zelda's POV

When the game ended, Orion took me to a local diner. We talked a lot, he cracked a few bad jokes during the conversation making me laugh hard at his silliness. Somehow Orion always had a way to make me feel better.

Orion went to pay the bill, we argued a lot about this but he insisted that he will pay for this time and that I can pay for the next date. When he returned, he asked me

" Are you tired? Do you have a curfew?"

" Uhmmm... No. Why?"

" I wanted to take you to my go-to place. It's my favorite spot. Whenever I'm worried or stressed out, I go there. It makes me feel better."

Orion was considerate. He always had a way to brighten up my mood. At first, I was a bit hesitant to come with him but seeing the silly way he behaves made it far easier to trust him.

We got in the car together and we were riding in silence when Orion said

" This place is beautiful. I'm sure you will love it and I stumbled upon that spot. It's my go-to place to release all my built-up anger."

" Hey! Listen, I don't know what's bothering you but I just wanted to say that I can always lend my ears and my shoulders. I have a quite strong shoulder" He shrugged and winked at me. Making me laugh at his goofiness.

He paused and then seriously added

" Zelda, on a serious note, I'm always here for you. You can always come to see me if anything is troubling you. I will always support you no matter what..."

He continued, " even if it's a murder. I will help you bury your enemy"

My eyes widened in shock and I looked at him. When he looked at my facial expression, he burst out into fits of laughter. He even had to stop the car and laugh it all out.

His laughter was contagious. We were bantering the rest of the ride. I was so absorbed in our conversation that I didn't even look outside the window to see in what sort of area we were in.

All of a sudden, Orion stopped the car and told me to get out.

Has he lost his mind?

He smiled and gestured towards outside. "The car can't go further in," he said.

His favorite place was a lake. I swear to god that this is the most beautiful place that I've ever seen. We sat by the lake, silently enjoying each other's company and the breath-taking view. 

Orion entwined our hands together, that made me look at him and he asked me 

" Zelda, Will you be my girlfriend?" 

I was surprised, to say the least. 

" I know it's not easy to make a decision right now so take your time and let me know your answer please"

He continued to blabber when I held his face and looked him in the eyes and said

" Yes... yes" then I pulled him in for a kiss, sort of making up for last time.

Orion was shocked but he recovered quite quickly and he kissed me back with the same energy. 

This was our first mutual kiss,  our first kiss as a couple.
