The Culprit

Senior Bleak entered and shut his door then went off to his computer room to see things for himself. He settled down and started with a reverse of the footage from that moment to when they had dinner yesterday.
He kept searching but the footage was not clear, more like some parts were tampered with and whoever did the job tended to leave no trace but that's where the person is wrong.
He got his phone and connected it to the system. The phone is attached to every secret camera in the mansion so whenever he can't find something from the computer, he uses his phone, and right there he will get the answer.
He did not have to search for long and boom, the answer was in front of him. He cursed and stared hard at the picture of the perpetrator.

Alex walked on with tearful eyes, her beautiful face was painted with tears. The Christmas morning breeze was not helping her in any way, it was rather adding to her pain. She was damned miserable and the earth can feel it.
Crying has always been her only way of redeeming herself.
She passed the Catholic opposite to her to the friend next house and stared as people went in and out of the church, it was obvious that a Christmas service would be holding her soon.
A lady passes by her side with a little boy of 6 six years old. The duo was gisting and laughing.
This could be she and Ander going to collect a Christmas prayer today but he is nowhere to be found.
"Please Santa protect him for me, he is all that I have."
She prayed and walked on.
She walked a few more and got to the next friend of Ander.
The building was just on its own looking lost like her state at the moment.
She got to the big door and knocked and waited. The Christmas decoration added color to the color the building lacked. It was greyly painted and Alex wondered why it had been painted like that.
It looks like there was a story behind this building.
She knocked again yet the door was not open. She continued waiting patiently for the occupants to come and open the door for her.
A few minutes passed and there was no sign of the occupant around. She could not continue to wait when there are other friends, if she would still check them, instead of waiting here, moving will be the best option.
No one in there means one thing, her brother was not there.
She sighed and turned her back on the building.
"Too much for one morning"
She said sadly and left the building, by now she was no longer crying and light-headed, she was ready to find her brother no matter what it takes.
She has just to get the strength to do it and for more strength, Alex prayed to Santa to grant her.

Lucy, who was mopping the kitchen floor, was feeling uneasy. She could not understand why. She tried thinking if she has done everything she was asked, she did all but then, what could be the uneasiness she is feeling?
Today for her was unusually quiet, the Bleak mansion lacks the humor to live in but that does not necessarily mean a graveyard so the quietness was threatening to her. It's not really in her power to make something happen, she just hopes for the best.
The best gift that can be given to her right now is for her to go celebrate Christmas with her people because the Bleak she knows has been cursed not to celebrate Christmas, she was actually surprised when she heard initially that Luke was getting married on the 25th of December and she thought maybe there will be a little change in the house yet again, she thought wrong, nothing changed. She can't even say if the wedding is still going to hold anymore because there's nothing that shows a wedding was going to hold today.

Gradually Alex's tears stopped flowing, Josh sighed in relief, he thought she was never going to stop.
"See how you made me look worried Alex, why do you have to lie here for me to realize that you are important to me? It was just a few hours of knowing you yet it feels like I have known you forever. Alex dear, come back to me, I miss your trouble. I want you to wake up and irritate me like you always do, please can you do that for me?"
Josh said with hopes she is going to wake up and he believed it, he dare not think otherwise.
Josh chuckled at himself at how fast his feelings are growing even with Alex doing little or nothing.
His hands have been intertwined with hers since, he has been warming her up through his hands
Josh was exhausted physically and mentally, he had no appetite.
Taking a glance at her, Josh gently placed his head on her lap and drifted off to dreamland.

Senor Bleak watched the clip of how melatonin was added to Alex's meal and was enraged.
"People do things without thinking and if I pay back those who offend me, the world will say I am evil but I don't care. "
Senior Blake needed to take action and that action he was going to take right there at the moment. He stood up and picked up his laptop with him and left the computer room.
He got to the top of the stairs and looked down at the down floor and took a step at a time and finally got to the floor.
His steps when he got to the down floor. He briskly rang the emergency Bell and in less than a few minutes all his workers had assembled, each with a look of confusion wondering why the sudden call by the employer.
He scanned their faces starting from one to the other and finally, he settled his stares on Lucy
Lucy's heart raced when she saw the old man was looking at her.
"Lucy, kindly tell us why you have to drug my granddaughter-in-law?"
Lucy gasped and covered her mouth with her hand, how will she explain to him now?
Luke, who just arrived downstairs for breakfast, heard him and hurried to the living room.
"Grandfather, did you say Alex was drugged?"
He asked his grandfather who replied to him by nodding his head.
"Yes Luke, and I am here to know why this lady will do such an evil act, does she want Alex dead or what. On what grounds has Alex offended her for her to treat someone she just saw yesterday like that.?
Lucy slowly went down on her knees and pleaded with the old man, she has to. She did not know she was going to get caught. Her Life is over if he fires her, it's funny how she thinks only firing her will be the right punishment for her. She has got a chicken brain if that's what she thinks.
"Silas!"
"Jackson!"
Jackson, one of his men, appeared immediately when he heard his boss call out to him.
"Yes big boss"
Get the officer, someone needs to be dealt with. I don't care what made her do what she did but she will pay dearly for it. She should just pray Alex wakes up first or…."
Senior Bleak said with no expression, his words were final.
