Lucy lifted her tear-filled eyes and looked at Senior Bleak. With the way senior Bleak Kept looking at her, she realized that she was in a big mess, she shouldn't have done what she did. What was she even thinking? "Sir I am deeply sorry I have to do what I did. I don't know what came over me, I can accept any punishment but please don't get the police involved, I beg you." She pleaded, hoping that Senior Bleak would listen to her. Luke scoffed and gave her a glaring look. "One more word from you, and you will not see the light of the next day." Senior Bleak threatened her and she shuddered, Lucy knew she was really on her own and the person who had made her do what she did, had ganged up with his grandfather to play against her. The life of rich, think they can do anything and get away with it and surely, they always do. Senior Bleak waved his hands and the rest of his staff started dispatching one after the other, they wouldn't want to be on the man's bad side today. The other maids pitied Lucy, they have known that one day Lucy would get in trouble with the way she was behaving and it was a pity that it has to be on Christmas Day. Who knows what their employer has in store for her? But wherever punishment is given to her, she deserves it because she didn't think twice before drugging that lady. What happens if the lady dies? It did not take the police time to get to the Bleak's mansion and wrestled away the criminal without asking questions, there was no need for that. All they have to do is just wait for the man to give out orders and they will carry it. That's how powerful Senior Bleak is. Luke, who has been bubbling inside of him could not wait to share the good news with Stacy. Alex is in the hospital almost dead, the probability that she might wake up is zero because he knows the amount of melatonin they had put, rather he had made Lucy put inside the pasta. She was going to sleep for a very long time. Could today be happier than any other day? No, it was just the beginning because, by the time he is done with all of them, they will be at his Mercy. He excused himself from his grandfather and went into his room, breakfast was forgotten. He had the best breakfast today. This good news alone might keep him from being hungry for a long time. Senior Bleak rose from the cushion he was sitting down and went back to his room, he was not even hungry anyway. It is almost past breakfast hour but it does not matter to him. His only concern is for his daughter-in-law to wake up. Getting to his room, a call came into his phone and it was from Silas "Hello, sir." His voice came through the speaker "Silas, have you delivered the boy home?" He questioned and Silas at his end nodded, "Sir I got bad news, the priest has been kidnapped." Senior Bleak cursed under his breath. Whoever that was daring him like this has got the nerve. "Silas do the needful and get back to me when you have good news. Meanwhile, make sure the boy is comfortable before leaving the mansion" "Yes sir" The line went dead. ********** Mr. Jackson sat in his large living room puffing out some tobacco when a call came into his phone. It was from one of his men, one he trusted most out of all of them and he could come to him to give him first-hand information. He Picked up the call and waited for his man to speak up. "Sir, the priest was saved from his kidnappers, he is now in our custody" "Great then, don't do anything. Wait for further instructions from me" He said and hung up the call. He stared into space in deep thought. He raised his daughter to fight for her right but she should know when to back down. It's obvious She and Josh Bleak are not meant to be together, why is she fighting it or does she think he would look her way even if she did the world for him? When a man's heart is off you, no matter what you as the lady do, he will never come back to you. No one is worth dying for. He would have to teach her a lesson for her to learn. He picked up his phone and punched in some numbers and dropped it almost immediately. "Sir, breakfast is served." One of his maids told him from afar. Mr. Jackson smiled at her indicating he heard her and she left right away. ************* It was mine o'clock on Christmas Morning and Stacy was seen pushing a shopping truck inside the mall. She went shopping after she realized she needed one. A call had gotten to her to inform her that the operation was carried out successfully by her men. Ever since then, she has been so happy. "No one is going to take you away from me." She said and continued pushing the truck. The news she got from Luke some minutes ago added to her happiness. "Today was not the first time I used melatonin. I know the efficiency of it. The lady in question will have to sleep for a very long time." She said as she continued to push the truck. She got to the counter and handed her card to the cashier at the desk. The lady who was in her average age, dressed up smartly in a plain sky shirt and deep blue trousers with a black flat shoe, took the card and smiled but a few minutes later she stared up at Stacy, who raised her brows in askance. "There is no money in here, ma'am." She said and handed the card back to her, Stacy took it absentmindedly. What happened to her card and what did she mean there is no money in her account? Her account officer will need to do some explanations on this. "Will you be kind enough to tell me what happened to my money?" The account officer who was expecting her call was not surprised she called as he predicted. "Sorry ma'am, order from above. Your father had the money withdrawn some moments ago, Sorry." The call went off and Stacy clenched her knuckles in anger that it almost turned white. She can't believe her father humiliated her like this for no reason. She apologized to the workers and left in anger, her dad is really getting on her toes and she is almost having it up to her neck.
