Ander was seen pacing around in his hostel room, he can't seem to reach his big sis and he is really worried.

First, she did not call as usual, and now, her number had been unreachable. He is so worried that something might have happened to her. He was supposed to be home but because of his exams, he had to extend his going home to his sis till tomorrow which he had mentioned to Alex.

"Sis, I am so worried about you, I hope you are safe. I will keep trying your phone and I promise you first thing tomorrow, I will be home for Christmas, just get your phone available"

Worries were written all over his face, he tried the line again and the network provider said the same thing they have been telling him for the past hour.

Ander had no choice but to go to bed hoping tomorrow, things will be okay.

Josh was the last person to leave the dining room, after he left, the maids had to clear the dining table amidst gossip.

The maids who prepared Alex's pasta could not wait to tell her fellow maids what she thinks is going on.

She got to the kitchen and dropped the plates on the dishwasher and drew the other maids closer to her. She and five others. If there is anything that gives Lucy joy, is gossiping about unnecessary things, things that might put her in trouble one day. And how she gets information baffles her colleagues. As much as they want to listen to her, one of them always feels irritated because she feels that's not why she is there. She is there to work and get paid and then support her family

"I heard that Master Luke is not getting married again tomorrow instead Master Josh is and his bride is the lady that ate dinner with them"

She said and the other five expressed shock.

"Why?"

One among the five asked.

"Well, I don't know why but what I am sure of is that Master Josh's bride was Master Luke's former girlfriend. In Fact, he broke up with her today because he was getting married tomorrow but after he found out that the marriage was not going to hold, he made plans to go back to his girlfriend only for him to find out that she had a past with Master Josh and they were back together"

She explained.

The maids were amazed not because of the information she passed but how she managed to get the information. To them this kind of thing is normal with rich people, rich people are unpredictable and you can't tell what is going to happen in their life next.

"You are all over the place, how you get information is what I can't tell. Well I am off though, I have pretty things to do before I got to bed, so nice time gossiping about things that can't add value to your life"

One of the maids, who felt irritated that they had to be there and listen to their colleague gossip, left and the other four followed her leaving Lucy, the maid who had given them the information, behind. Lucy was angered that she wasted her time over these lazy a*s maids. She felt insulted and huffed. If only she could see that she is like every other maid in the mansion then she would not feel so important.

She left to make sure that things were in order before bedtime.

There will be a wedding tomorrow and she would want to impress Senior Bleak by keeping everywhere in place. Who knows if the old man gets to like her she might get a chance with Luke.

There is something she has noticed with her short stay here, the grandfather is the one in charge, and whatever he says stands. So luck might shine on her if she keeps being good in his presence. Who would not want to have a chance to be married into a wealthy home?

Josh walked into the room and saw his light off and he got angry.

"Who gave this damned lady right over my things? She knows I am out yet she had to switch off the light, she keeps getting on my nerves"

He fumed and kicked his door open, he found the switch and turned it on. He saw her sleeping and his anger intensified.

Josh went over to his bed and dragged Alex down to the floor, she woke up immediately her head hit the floor.

"Ouch!"

Alex screamed and stood up instantly. She checked the side of her head she hit on the floor to see if it was bleeding but it was not.

"Mr. Josh Bleak, do you have to hit my head like that?"

Alex flared at Josh.

"Oh Mrs. Josh Bleak, does it hurt so much?"

Josh asked with his voice full of sarcasm.

Alex, who was not having any of his trouble, glared at him and picked a pillow then took his duvet and spread it on the floor, and laid down. And that alone angered Josh.

"How can she ignore him like that, does it look like he is a fo*l in her eyes"

He thought and looked at the lady who had gone to sleep almost immediately. But come to think of it, why would Alex's reaction matter to Josh?

Josh forcefully pulled the duvet Alex was lying on and she rolled over to her side not waking up. He ignored her and thought maybe she had gotten so tired of him that she would not react. That will be good for both of them because he had had a long evening, thanks to her but on the other part, he smirked, today was fun for him because no one has looked for his trouble in a while which makes him wonder if he has become invincible, but thanks to Alex he was not invincible after all.

He pressed the remote on his headlamp and the light went off, switching on the AC to the highest.

"When the cold hit her hard on the cold floor, nobody will tell her to stand up"

He thought, covered himself, and went to sleep.

Tomorrow Josh and Alex will say "I DO"

JB and his wife, Susan had gotten ready to return home for Josh's unexpected wedding and it was time for them to leave their London apartment for the airport. From their expressions, one could tell that both are not ready to travel, JB knows that if he dares and stays back in London, his father would deal with him mercilessly.

JB knows his boundaries and dares not cross them. He might have gotten away with a few things in the past but he could not flaunt his father's order.

They grumpily took their suitcase outside where their driver was waiting to take them to the airport.

The driver who kept looking at them wondered why the two had to look the way they were looking. It's funny that the wife and her husband behave like kids. He has been their driver for months now and he came to understand that nothing matters to them both except themselves. He is just their employee and does not know much about them so he is keeping his opinion to himself.

He helped them convey their suitcases to the booth and after JB and Susan has settled down, he drove off with the duo who kept looking back at their apartment, they can't believe they will be spending Christmas outside London and not having to spend time with each other for Christmas would be the worst Christmas experience ever for both of them.
