chapter 5;Mr brown is ill

who could believe a week have passed so fast.

I looked at Cathy who I was feeding its dinner in his new small cage.

I heared a knock on the door and decided to go check,it must be Amy, I thought.because she said she did be coming to spend the last day of the weekend with me.i was wearing a very short jean bumshots ,my thighs were all showing.i had a white singlet ,which was tight fitted.

hi Amy...., sorry,it was not but Mr brown.

sorry sir I thought it was my friend ,you can come in.

Mr brown looked at me as if he saw a ghost.

he stared at me for some minutes ,that I started feeling uncomfortable. maybe he noticed and stopped.

" no probs miss rose,I came to pick up Cathy for the week.i hope you remembered the contract.

yeah you can come in,so that I can put him in the cat bag pack.

he walked in , I offered him a sit and wait to the bedroom where I kept Cathy's cage to bring her.

when I came back to hand over Cathy to him he was already around the house staring at the frames on the wall.

Sir, here ,I said handing over Cathy to him.

" yeah,I was just looking at the pictures on the wall,there look great.

thank you sir.why not add me on wechat ,so that you I could forward Cathy's daily routine to you,the time for him to sleep and the necessary details

Cathy, here you are stay here .this would be your new home for the week.i said while placing Cathy on a new white small cage near the sitting room.

miss rose really took care of you .but wait she really looked some kind of hot tonight.

maybe she is expecting her boyfriend......no no ,I can't be saying this.

it can't be right...I looked down to Cathy and brought up his face.

am I jealous. is just a normal thing to look out for your employee.

do you love to take a walk, I asked Cathy and waited for a reply from the cute animal as though she is human.

I took him in my arm and found my way out of the house for a walk.

Alright Katherine, I will take the files to Mr brown's office.

I took the the files from Katherine who was nagging me since I came to work in the morning to give Mr brown a file for her.

why wouldn't she do it herself, well she already thinks I am dating Mr brown and no matter what the files will get signed.

knock...knock....

" you can come in, a manly voice replied to the knock.

I came in to the office. Mr brown was holding a white capsule drug on his right hand and a glass of water on the other.

the drug looked like a cold medicine.

excuse me sir, I came to submit these files for signing.

" alright keep them on the desk.

sorry,if I mY ask are you ill.

" is just a normal cold, I got infected after walking the cat all night .

sorry sir ,I said while holding in my laughter. how could he be so silly to walk a cat the whole night without even check the temperature of the day.

I will take my leave now.i walked out of the door and went to my desk.

maybe, his cold was serious. I shouldn't have left like that but ....I don't need more rumors.

few minutes later ,I saw Mr Thomas coming out of Mr brown's office with a man which seems to be a doctor.

Mr Thomas came back and went to Mr brown office and coming out with Mt brown rendering him his right armas a support.

maybe his sickness got worst.i ran towards them to know whether I could be of help.

Mr Thomson let me hold the bags for you ,I said pointing to the bag he was holding on his left hand.

" thank you.

I took the bag and accompanied them to the company exit where Mr brown's car was already packed. Mr brown' s driver came towards us to help Mr Thomson take the boss to the car.

" ok, miss rose ,you can give me the bag .

okay , but where are you taking Mr brown.

" we are taking him to his house, the doctor said we should take him home to have some rest, he said taking his face to the passenger's seat where Mr brown who was half unconscious was.

okay, but where is his house,I meant is his house far.

" no ,he lives at Faversham estate ,and His house is also the first, house , so you can see is not that far, can you now give me the bag we need to take him home.

I gave him the bag,he shot the door which was on the side of the driver and they drove off.

atleast I now know his house,I will visit him when am done with work today ..I soliloquised.

I turned my bag to get back in to the company only to see the staffs outside.

what are they looking at. maybe ythry want to add to their rumors.

I cared less and went back inside the office.

I sat on my desk and went back to work.

few minutes after the incident.

I saw Elena walking towards me,her faced was squeezed as if she saw her enemy.she was not at all in a good mood.

I knew it must be about the incident that happened earlier.

" you b* tch, why are you forcing yourself on the boss,that does not want you but wants a sexy looking girl like me. she said furiously and pointed her index finger at me.

I beg your pardon Elena, I have no whatsoever business with you.

of the fact that elena was pretty ,tall and also has a clear skin but never had the boss showed interest in her as far as I had known.

" you foolish girl, I know you must be jealous because the boss wants me and nor you,but you should not throw yourself at him .

she walked off ,flipping her hair at the back.

what yhe f* Uck,this girl is now starting to piss me off.

later in the say after closing for work ,I went to Mr brown's house to know how he is feeling.

I ranged the door bell for some hours bur no one opened, I thought maybe I was In the wrong apartment. I was about to go when the door was opened atlast.
