Miami, Florida—that's where we're going. When the taxi that fetched me from the airport stopped, I went ahead first.
I forced whatever happened in the mansion into the back of my mind. I inhaled the fresh smell of the beach and air. We are in a different place, so we should only enjoy ourselves and have fun while we're here.
Despite what happened, I'm still excited. I didn't think Liam would bring me here. I thought it was just somewhere when I asked him, and he told me the place would be boring, but I should have known he was just bluffing.
