The morning sun streamed through the window of Mia's cozy apartment, casting a warm golden glow over the room as she stirred from her sleep. With a contented sigh, she stretched her limbs beneath the soft embrace of her favourite oversized sweater, its fabric warm and comforting against her skin. Throwing back the covers, Mia slipped out of bed and padded across the room to her dresser, where she pulled out a pair of faded jeans and a simple white tank top. She topped off her outfit with a denim jacket, its sleeves rolled up to her elbows, and laced up a pair of well-worn sneakers before heading out the door. Today was her day off from work at the diner, and Mia was determined to make the most of it. She had always been curious about the city of Rosedem, with its hidden alleys and bustling markets, and she relished the opportunity to explore its streets and discover its secrets. With a smile on her lips and a sense of adventure in her heart, Mia set off into the city, her senses alive with the sights and sounds of urban life. She wandered through the narrow streets and crowded squares, taking in the vibrant energy of the city and reveling in the freedom of her newfound independence. As the day wore on, Mia found herself drawn to a secluded park nestled on the outskirts of the city, a tranquil oasis of greenery amidst the chaos of the urban landscape. She strolled along the winding pathways, pausing to admire the blooming flowers and listen to the gentle rustle of leaves in the breeze. But as Mia rounded a corner and stepped into a secluded clearing, her heart skipped a beat at the sight that greeted her, a group of shadowy figures lurking in the shadows, their eyes gleaming with malice as they advanced towards her with predatory intent. Before Mia could react, strong arms closed around her from behind, pinning her arms to her sides as a familiar voice whispered in her ear. "Hello, Mia," Alpha Jace's voice was a low growl that sent a shiver of fear down Mia's spine. "Did you really think you could escape me so easily?" Mia's heart raced as she struggled against Jace's grip, her mind racing with thoughts of escape and survival. But even as she fought against the overwhelming odds, she knew that she was no match for the powerful alpha who held her captive, but she had to try. "Let me go, Jace!" Mia's voice was filled with desperation as she writhed against his grasp, her limbs thrashing wildly in a futile attempt to break free. But Jace's hold only tightened, his fingers digging into her skin with a bruising intensity that left her gasping for breath. Jace's lips curled into a cruel smile as he dragged Mia deeper into the shadows, his eyes gleaming with malice as he relished in her struggles. "You can't escape me, Mia," he taunted, his voice a low growl that sent a shiver of fear down her spine. "You belong to me." But Mia refused to give up without a fight, her spirit unbroken despite the overwhelming odds stacked against her. With a defiant cry, she summoned every ounce of strength she possessed and lashed out at Jace with all her might, hoping against hope that she could somehow break free from his grasp. But her efforts were in vain. With a cruel laugh, Jace effortlessly overpowered her, his grip unyielding as he dragged her deeper into the darkness, away from the safety of the city streets and into the clutches of her worst nightmare. Mia's heart filled with a sense of dread, knowing that she was now at the mercy of the ruthless alpha who held her captive. With every step they took, she felt the walls closing in around her, suffocating her with the weight of her own helplessness.
