A spark

I guess that Takumi didn’t tell anyone about my job. She wearily rested against the wall behind the schools building and seated her bottom on the cool grass. She took out a big lunch box from her backpack and opened it slowly as it was very colourful. Ah, Asuna is really good. Her cooking is amazing! Putting a piece of meat in her mouth and smiling very delighted. It was quite and the smell of the wet grass mixed with her lunch was incredibly rewarding. She took a sip of her iced coffee and gazed at the clear blue sky. “I told you I will pay you back!” She looked ahead, examining the faces in front of her. Kirito’s face was just as disgusting as always. He was surrounded by many of the old students who kept repeating their last year, although, they had never attended school for the last two months. Erika placed the cap of her lunch box on top and placed it to a corner. Can guys just get extinct already? “Do you think you can beat me with just that? I can simply just tell the principal and have you all suspended,” she declared resentful, after standing up prideful. “Just as expected! Too scared to fight, huh? Just going to chicken out and tell the authorities,” he laughed, “let’s go guys before she pees herself.” Erika clenched her teeth and her fists. She glared with a resentful look before allowing her eye brows to get diagonal.  “As if trash like you would scare me! I will beat all of you up at once! Weaklings like you are no match for me,” she shouted wearing a wide grin across her front. Why not? I am actually in the mood for this. “You b***h! Guys lets beat her up so that she would never dare speak to us like that again,” he demanded agitated and much irritated. Erika placed a foot in front of the other. She hardened her calf muscles, holding and forming a steady balance. Her fists were clenched, clasped, before rising them up. Her left was in front of her chest while the other followed ahead and slightly higher. Her smirk painted her face even wider as she glared sharper. One of the guys stepped forwards while cracking his knuckles. He turned his palm to a fist and dashed towards her. Erika’s bore didn’t depart from his motion, and were greatly in focus at his movements. Stretching out one of his fists; he was ready to clobber her face. As soon as his punch was close enough, she tilted her head to the opposite side; making his punch run through the naked atmosphere. Before using his other fist, Erika slightly bent her knees and ran her punch through his stomach. “Pfft! Is that really all you’ve got? I thought you said you will make me regret the other day?” She cachinnated. “What do you think you are doing? She doesn’t deserve mercy! Beat her to crap,” Kirito shouted, as he glared at them.  “Hold on.” She heard a familiar deep voice. She looked to the right as they all did, noticing Takumi standing firmly against the wall, with one hand in his pocket and the other holding his juice. He took a final sip off his straw and placed the empty cardboard on the side of the grass. “How is it fair to have six elders against one junior?” “Who cares if it is fair or not? Let’s just show her, her place! Wanna join us? It’s fun beating up some weakling and make her beg for forgiveness. I heard you are really good in taekwondo,” said Kirito delighted. “You really are sickening. Allow me to tell you something about myself; if there is anything I hate the most, it is the people who enjoy seeing other’s misery.” “I guess you are just going to get in our way. Guys, lets beat both of them up!” demanded Kirito. “Hey no one asked for your help! I can take care of them by myself,” shouted Erika agitated. “I am not really helping you. I know you can beat them all up with no problem, but I am doing this to help myself.” he looked at her with a bitter smile on. “How about this; Attack all at once and see if you can pass through me?” “Whoa! You are insane,” blurted Kirito. All six of them rushed towards him at once. He still kept his hands in his pockets while wearing a listless front. The closest one to him was about a foot away. He was preparing his punch, when Takumi rose his foot and forcefully extended it towards his targets chest; allowing the very bottom of his dark shoes to run through his opponent’s chest. The other four stared at their mate as he flattened on the floor right at Erika’s lunch box. His face was as pale as a sheet while he clenched to his chest with both of his hands. Erika’s eyes were wide open locked at her scattered lunch leaving the rest of her face expressionless. “Sorry, I accidently used too much force,” said Takumi. Another came rushing to him and swiftly ran his fist towards Takumi’s face, as he was calmly standing still on the same spot. He moved his body to the opposite direction forcing his strong punch to miss out. He stood right next to him, taking one hand out of his pocket. He opened his palm with his long fingers stretched to their optimum and hardening them as much as he could. Takumi raised his palm and swiftly dropped it on the back of his opponent’s neck. The pain dropped him on the floor and unable to regain back his balance. The other three stopped attacking and allowed their bodies to be frozen on the grass. Erika had her lips slightly parted now with her back slightly bent. I thought his body was only for show, but he is actually strong! “Guys let’s just withdraw for today,” demanded Kirito. They dashed out before Takumi grabbed Kirito from his maroon shirt. The other two had already left. “I just want to ask you a question,” said Takumi, with eyes as quiet as the sky before a storm. Kirito seemed to be shaking and his arm’s hair was standing. “What’s so fun about making other people miserable? How do you gain satisfaction from another’s tears? Would you mind answering these questions?” “I’m sorry! I’m sorry! It won’t happen again so please go easy on me,” Kirito begged with a helpless look on his despicable face. “No, never mind. You two are too different. One with no pride at all and one who would rather die to maintain their pride and reputation.” Takumi slowly let go of his collar before seeing Kirito dash to the gate. Takumi put back his hands in his pockets and turned to Erika, as she was still staring at him restlessly. “Well it wasn’t as fun as I had intended,” he required, getting her out of the shock. She looked at her lunch box with a sorrow gaze. The food was completely spilled and the lunch box itself had gotten cracked. “How could you?” She kept her eyes locked on the spilt food. Takumi looked at where she was looking and noticed this spilt food. “Are you angry because of the food?” Takumi was in a daze, as he was pointing at the food. “Do you know the three best things in life?” she asked in a low tune, while she squatted and started cleaning the place. “Exercise, books and food!” She glared at him. Takumi was standing in a daze before cracking up. Her face glowed brightly as she looked away. “What’s so funny?” she shouted enraged, standing back up. “Nothing, it’s just funny how we have so much in common.” Erika looked away bashfully as her face turned scarlet. “Anyways, I will forgive you for taking away my prey but-” “But?” he questioned her words astonished, while he stopped laughing. “You will have to arm wrestle me first,” she demanded excited. Takumi’s eyes opened widely before his lips curved in a pure smile. The dining noise of the bell, suddenly ran across the whole school.  “Shouldn’t we hurry to class?” he started walking inside. “Yeah that’s right- wait a minute! Why didn’t you respond to my game? Are you afraid of losing?” she shouted. “Hey don’t act so mighty, just because I asked you to a competition. Just so you know, I am much stronger than you,” she shouted, raging in flames as she walked in front of him. Takumi started laughing again as Erika started blushing. “What are you laughing at?” she blurted annoyed. “At how different and unnatural you could get,” he responded smoothly while wearing the same smile he had before. Erika got flushed and mantled, getting more violent but kept quiet as she couldn’t find the right words to say. Why does he suddenly look so handsome? Is there something wrong in my head?  “Why are you so creepy?” shouted Erika. “What did I do?” he questioned with a puzzled expression, looking straight at her. Erika’s face got brighter as she tried to hide her face beneath her choppy bangs. I can’t believe I said the words I was thinking about myself out loud! I am getting so crazy! “Cause… You just aren’t normal! Everything about you is way too weird two! Can’t you go away for a bit?” she shouted as she started walking a lot faster than before. “But, our class is the same and there is only one way.” “So just shut up already,” she shouted exasperated as they were very close to the classroom. “Weren’t you the one who started talking?” he grinned before he followed her steps into the classroom.
