Eleven Trixie I had to avoid Wes’s face for the first couple minutes after sitting down for dinner. I didn’t want to look at him and laugh, catch his eye and see regret, or, even more likely, stare at his mouth and relive that amazing moment in his bed. We’d left the room right after Karrie told us dinner was ready. I felt bad, because I’d been fully expecting to repay the favor to Wes, but I didn’t want to be late to dinner, especially since Karrie was the one who’d invited me.
