Thirty-One Ridge My shoulders were tense and my disposition was one hundred percent asshole. Coming home did not bring out the best in me. I was braced and ready for a fight. Maybe I shouldn’t be, maybe Wes was right and our mother would be the picture of welcome and acceptance. Ha!
