Mated to the Demon Prince

Dysabel POV Something so terrified was chasing me, I couldn't see it but felt its presence, it's more like wind or should I say a wild beast? I just can't figure out what it is but the more it comes closer the more I feel like am changing, I feel like it's a part of me which I need to complete. A wild wind blew on me and I change, my mouth no longer craves water, it now craves blood, I feel like eating the whole world up, my heart now beat so fast but this time sound different, it sound like a wild beast. I take a turn in search of a life to feed on, I saw a guy, I couldn't see him clearly but from afar you could tell he's so handsome, to the extent that his beauty calms my desire for human blood, but his situation seems similar to mine because all his sharp incisors are filled with human blood, suddenly his red eyes stare into my blue eyes. What's this feeling am feeling right now I felt a connection and I start to move closer to him and he did the same. The more closer we move the farther the journey becomes, it's like there is a magnet drawing us away from each other, we get tired but keep on trying. I wake up quickly shouting mom's name, gasping for air it's hard to breathe, i don't know what's the meaning of this dream and why have i been dreaming about it for such a long time now. “My child!, What's the problem.” She said as she rushed into my room, touching me checking if am alright. “Mom, it's the same dream again.” I said as tears flow down my eyes. “Why do i have to keep having this dream, do you know fot how long have been having this dream, it's over fourteen years now, why must i always dreamt about this scary dream all the time, wait mom, before you answer this, let me tell you that you caused everything happening to me right now, ask me how and i will tell you.” I said sadly and you could sense the sadness am feeling through those words. “How do you mean my child, how can i be the reason for my child's sufferings, i know how much you hate having this dream so how can i be the reason for it, trust me if i know of anything i can do to save you from this or stop this bad dream from interrupting your beautiful sleep i would have done it long ago i would have done it.” She said as she hold my two hands tightly. “Don’t tell me that, mom don't even say that to me at all, you claim you don't know the reason behind this, yet you are that same person that brought into this desert you called a home, mom just look around us who do you see here, okay let's agree am born here fine, but why are you against me going to the outside world, i want to see what the world looks like also, but you won't even allow me do that, i hate this place, all thanks to this desert of a place, i kept having this bad dream at all time.” I said as i stand up from the bed walking to the window side. “Trust me my child, the place is suitable for us, you won't understand now, it best for us this way my love, trust your mom and listen to me.” She said as she tries to walk close to me. “Don’t come any closer to me mom.” my words stop her from coming closer to me. I chuckles. “I was expecting you to say this anyways so am not surprise, i knew you would say the same thing you've been saying the same thing for the past fourteen years, “don’t worry everything will be fine, the outside world is dangerous for us”, Mom am tired of this, I need to catch my breath.” I said as i walk out of the room. “At least eat your breakfast before going out please my child.” I heard her saying this but choose to turn a blind ear to what she said. I don't have the appetite to eat any food right now. Everywhere is filled with trees and bushes, it is very silent here, i hate this place so much, no one to talk to, am always lonely at all time. Finally i decided to sit near a tree and have some fresh air so i can calm my anger and worries. After sitting for a long time i heard a voice saying, “Dysabel if you truly want to go to the outside world let me help you”, I was so scared because i search everywhere, look around with my eyes moving very fast but i see no one, i jump up out of fear, but i was so scared to even move my legs, it was just so scary, the voice keep saying the same thing, so i couldn't help the situation other than shouting, saying “Who are you, show yourself to me.” “If you truly want to know me then enter this tree.”The unknown voice said. “What tree ?” I asked surprised of what i heard. “Listen Dysabel if you can come in here, i will tell you the reason why you and your mom are living in here and why you kept having that scary dream that made you come here after having a fight with your mom, and i will show you the way to the outside world and by me doing all this for you i won't ask for anything in return, see me as a friend who badly want to help her friend, come in Dysabel, come in.” The voice say all this as he opens. I finally gather all my strength to run for my dare life, but the more i try to run the tree keeps following me, drawing back me with its branches. I somehow was able to escape from it, i run into my house. Mom was sitting outside, it is obvious she was waiting for me. “Darling you are finally here, i have been waiting for you daughter.” She said smiling. “Mom let's go inside, it's not safe here.” I said dragging her inside. “Not safe?, why will you say that angel, did something happened when you went out for fresh air?” She asked. “No mom nothing happened, i just want us to go inside, i want to sleep beside you.” I said faking my smile. I drag her in and lock the doors and windows, i don't want her to know about what happened to me, she will be worried and that may stop me from going outside to avoid that i just have to lie to her. “Sleep? it's not even bed time yet and you want to sleep and why are you closing the doors and windows definitely something is fishy, i feel there is something you are not telling me.” She said feeling suspicious with the way am acting. “Mom you and this your feelings all the time, i told you right nothing happened seriously, is it now an offence wanting to be with my mom.” I said making the whole situation look funny acting like everything is fine. “Okay fine, since you said everything is fine let's go in so i can feed you with my hands before taking a nap.” She said smiling to me. “Yes mom.” I replied her. “You know am so happy you want me to put you to bed, am glad you are finally feeling better now, after having that dream you were acting weird but am happy you are okay now, let me dish you some food i will come and feed you on bed myself.” She said while she dish me some food in the kitchen. All my attention wasn't with her i was still shock by what happened earlier, i kept peeping through the window, not comfortable at all, i was scared it might come after me again. “What’s wrong angel, what are you looking for outside and why are you looking restless.” She asked shocked with the way am acting. “Nothing, nothing mom, am fine, come here and feed me, am so damn hungry mom.” I said faking the smile again. “Okay if you say so my angel.” She said. I took every single bite of the food but i don't even know eating or what am eating, i was so restless, i kept looking both front and back all the time, i was scared thinking the unknown scary voice might find me here. But i didn't allow mom know what's going on, i couldn't sleep that night, i kept standing up every second making sure everything is fine outside. I do that for good seven days and finally i believe it was just my imagination because nothing like that happens again.
