Perci walked into the spare room to find Thor sitting on the floor in the corner, his head bent over and arms resting on his knees. His hammer had been placed in the centre of the bed, barely making a dent, funnily enough.
She didn't have to wonder why the God was like this. But with him facing the corner, the demigoddess was able to walk over to him without a sound.
The Saviour then sat behind him, their backs touching. He tensed when he finally realized he wasn't alone. Thor didn't think anyone could creep up on him. Well.
He was consumed with the loss of his brother and it was Lady Persephone, Heroine of Olympus.
She sighed against him, her head falling back to rest on his shoulder, "I've lost people too. Not my brother. Just, lots of people."
"He, he let go himself, My Lady. The people you lost were fighting for a cause. Loki just, let go."
The demigoddess felt him sigh, it being heavy with the guilt he held onto so fiercely.
"It's not your fault Thor."
"But it is my Lady. Had I pulled him to safety before he threw himself into the void..."
Perci shushed him. Honestly, she had no idea what to do. Actually, maybe she did. Thinking back to her mum's actions from when she was younger and had only just lost her friends.
The demigoddess used all her strength to pull him around and lay him in her lap, chest down between her legs. He seemed kinda shocked by this.
Probably not used to being manhandled by a girl.
The sea green-eyed woman moved his arms too. If anyone were to walk in, it'd probably look a little weird. The blonde God was lying in Perci's lap, his arms encircling her waist and his stubbled cheek was pressed against her hip.
When Perci first started camp and had been almost killed by Luke, she came home to her mother and this was how Sally held her.
Poseidon's Daughter held her breath and clenched and unclenched her fist. Then she did the next thing that Sally did.
She began to stroke Thor's hair.
Maybe she was doing this because she was going to marry him and needed to form a bond before anything did happen. Maybe it was because she could never imagine losing either of her brothers, Tyson and Triton and needed to make him feel better.
Aphrodite must be getting to her, because already Perci could feel a small flutter of nerves in her stomach, being this close to him. The demigoddess didn't believe in love at first sight. Some might. But she didn't.
They stayed like this for about ten minutes, until Perci realized that Thor had actually fallen asleep in her lap.

The jet landed on a massive battleship.
Perci elbowed Phil, "Does Nick really want me on this thing with all the guns and stuff."
The agent raised an eyebrow at her, "Don't worry. All eyes will be on you."
The demigoddess rolled her own eyes. She stumbled a little when the Quinjet moved back to align with the entrance, the ramp then dropped slowly, to reveal a red-headed assassin.
The men walked down it, calm and sure, while Perci launched herself from the plane at her, squealing. If there was anyone that could ever make Natasha Romanoff smile or laugh, it was Perci Jackson.
Nat caught her, both giggling like school girls. A few of the agent on the helicarrier's tarmac looked at them weirdly.
Phil cleared his throat and they jumped apart, both looking a little embarrassed, "Agent Romanoff. Captain Rogers."
"Ma'am."
The redhead nodded at him, "Hi."
Perci made a face and repeated her, but sarcastically, "Hi."
She threw a look at the demigoddess and to Coulson said, "They need you on the bridge. Face time."
He nodded at her, "See you there."
Just as the agent was about to step into the helicarrier, Perci yelled out, "Bye Phil!! See ya later!!"
Nat snorted and held back a laugh, the sea green-eyed woman, peeling back her emotionless assassin persona.
Steve walked over to the railing, looking down at the sea, the women close behind, "There was quite the buzz around here, finding you in the ice. I thought Coulson was gonna swoon."
"Oh, you should've seen him, Nat. He was so...so...it was like he was a little boy being in a candy shop for the first time!"
Again, the assassin held back a laugh, definitely wishing she'd seen it for herself, "Did he ask you to sign his Captain America trading cards yet?"
"Trading cards?"
Perci nodded quickly with her eyes shut, pursing her lips and frowning, before saying, "They're vintage, he's very proud."
The three began to walk over the tarmac towards the entrance, only to come across a very nervous Doctor. He turned to see them, a weak smile on his face.
Steve stretched out his hand, "Dr Banner."
Bruce takes the hand and shakes it carefully, almost fearfully, "Oh, yeah. Hi. They told me you'd be coming."
His gaze turned to Perci and he felt a shift deep in his mind. The Hulk likes her. She grinned, walked right up to him and grabs his hand tightly, unafraid of the green monster lurking beneath his skin.
Banner frowned when a shock ran through his body, almost making the Other Guy smile. Oh yeah. The Hulk definitely likes her.
Before she could even open her mouth, Steve unintentionally interrupts, "Word is you can find the cube."
Rude.
The Doctor tore his intrigued gaze from the sea green-eyed woman, "Is that the only word on me?"
Rogers smiled and shook his head once, "Only word I care about."
The brown-haired man let out a deep breath, "Must be strange for you, all this."
"Well, this is actually kind of familiar."
Natasha then spoke up when Perci elbowed her, "Gentlemen, you may wanna step inside in a minute. It's gonna get a little hard to breathe."
The demigoddess then rose her hand, thinking the helicarrier was, in fact, a submarine, her mouth open to say, "Actually I-"
The assassin slapped a hand over her mouth, "Not you."
The helicarrier began to rumble, shaking slightly while others on the surface raced to buckle the planes down.
Steve, a little curious, asked, "Is this a submarine?"
Banner looked cautiously about, a worried expression on his face, "Really? They wanted me in a submerged pressurized metal container?"
They both move closer to the edge of the helicarrier and four huge engines, mounted on the slide began turn, lifting the ship into the air.
Perci couldn't help feel a little nervous herself. Not a submarine...
Zeus is so going to hate her!
Rogers looked around in awe, and Banner smiled grimly, "Oh no. This is so much worse."
The demigoddess couldn't help but nod.
