Perci, Steve and Bruce follow Nat through the doors and into the bridge of the ship. Dozens of agents moved about, some sitting in front of their monitors as Agent Maria Hill shouted her orders.
Director Nick Fury stood at the head, overlooking all actions among screens of his own. Maria turned to Fury from below, "We're at lock."
He sent a nod of acknowledgement at her and with a deep inhale he softly told them, "Good. Let's vanish." Though his voice was quiet, it screamed with authority, almost like he was daring anyone to challenge him.
The demigoddess smirked at him, "Sup Nicky."
Walking up the couple of stairs, she looked out through the glass, "How are you supposed to see out that huge window?"
"We don't."
"Then why the Hades is it there?"
A few of the agents held in laughter, their faces twisted with restraint, as Fury groaned. The helicarrier rumbled as it began to ascend into the blue sky. Though she knew Zeus couldn't touch her, Perci still felt a little uneasy. She belongs in the water, not the sky.
She followed Steve and Bruce as they approached the Director, him wearing an almost invisible smug smirk, "Gentlemen."
Both look around in amazement and the demigoddess rose an eyebrow when the Soldier passed a ten dollar note to Nick.
The Director turned to Banner and extended his hand. He reluctantly shook it and Fury gave him a small smile, "Doctor, thank you for coming."
Perci made a face and crossed her arms.
Should be grateful I showed up. I wanted to sleep in.
Bruce gave him a shaky smile, "Thanks for asking nicely."
Never would Nick ever ask anyone nicely. Unless it was her of course.
"So, uh... how long am I staying?"
Fury nodded, "Once we get our hands on the Tesseract, you're in the clear."
The sea green-eyed woman's demeanour changed almost immediately, becoming the leader she was born to be. She then firmly asked, "Where are you with that?"
Nick turned to Agent Coulson to explain, while Natasha eyed an image of Clint Barton on a computer screen. The Daughter of Poseidon put a reassuring hand on the assassin's shoulder.
Almost robotically, Phil answered, "We're sweeping every wirelessly accessible camera on the planet. Cellphones, laptops. If it's connected to a satellite, it's eyes and ears for us."
"That's still not gonna find them in time," Perci murmured.
Bruce grasped his chin in thought, "You have to narrow the field. How many spectrometers do you have access to?"
Fury looked at him with a small frown, "How many are there?"
Banner nodded, "Call every lab you know, tell them to put the spectrometers on the roof and calibrate them for gamma rays. I'll rough out a tracking algorithm based on cluster recognition. At least we could rule out a few places. Do you have somewhere for me to work?"
The Director smiled again, and it really was creeping Perci out. She even winced.
Nick doesn't smile. It's a well-known fact.
"Agent Romanoff, would you show Dr.Banner to his laboratory, please?"
Natasha nodded and walked off, leading Banner down the hall, "You're gonna love it, Doc. We got all the toys."
The demigoddess gasped dramatically and clapped her hands, "Toys?!"
She'd love to get her hands on a new frisbee for Mrs O'Leary.
The redhead gave her a look, "Not those kind of toys."
The Sea's Daughter pouted, physically slumping, but followed them both anyway.

Perci was leaning over Bruce's shoulder as he worked, completely stunned at how this guy wasn't a demigod, but so fracking smart.
Was that...racist? Or demigod-ist?
She could hear Phil being weird. The agent was usually very level headed but to hear him sound so awkward was...
"I mean if it's not too much trouble."
"No, no. It's fine."
Then, sounding pretty proud of himself said, "It's a vintage set. It took me a couple of years to collect them all. Near mint, slight foxing around the edges, but..."
The demigoddess then jumped up and grinned at the two, scaring the crap out of them, "Alrighty boys, we got a hit. Sixty-seven percent match. Wait, cross match, seventy-nine percent."
She was so excited.
"Location?" Phil asked.
"Stuttgart, Germany. 28, Konigstrasse. He's not exactly hiding, " The demigoddess then growled, a dark look crossing her face, "He should be. I'm gonna punch him right in the kisser."
Fury entered the room, "Jackson. Captain. You're up."
They both nodded and walked out the door.

Perci was looking over the outfit that Phil had made for her.
A silver breastplate made of vibranium, being the leftovers of Steve's shield, with a pair of black, lightweight, knee-length tights that were akin to a bulletproof vest. And the eye-patched asshole had given her a pair of heels. Ones that looked like Nat's.
Fucking bastard.
Leaving the locker room, with her raven coloured locks loose, Perci met up with a suited up Captain Rogers, "Well don't you look snazzy, Cap!!"
He gave her a confused look, not getting the word. The demigoddess sighed, only just refraining from facepalming.

People screamed and ran as Loki left the museum, his golden armour and helmet shimmering into existence. Sirens blared from the police vehicles pulling up. But with no hesitation, Loki raised his sceptre, an explosion of blue light slamming into the closest car throwing it away like a broken toy.
The crowd from the museum screamed louder, but ignored the God of Mischief when he said, "Kneel before me."
He then multiplied and the duplicates of himself caged the terrified people in, "I said, kneel!!"
The people fall silent, looking around at the copies, before falling to their knees. Loki threw his arms up with a satisfied grin, "Is this not simpler? Is this not your natural state? It's the unspoken truth of humanity, that you crave subjugation. The bright lure of freedom diminishes your life's joy in a mad scramble for power, for identity. You were made to be ruled. In the end, you will always kneel," His crazed words filled the ears of those on the ground, echoing through the streets.
An elderly man stood, looking at the God with a stubborn, but brave look. He refused to kneel, "Not to men like you."
Loki chuckled, darkly, "There are no men like me."
But the man immediately answered, "There are always men like you."
The God smirked and lifted his sceptre point it at the man, "Look to your elder, people. Let him be an example."
The blue stone began to glow and just as the beam left the sceptre, it instead hits a circular shield with colours of the American flag. The energy beam flew back and slammed into Loki.
Captain America stood tall, protecting the elderly man. To his right, Perci dropped from the quinjet, landing beside Steve. In her hand, Riptide glowed threateningly off the street lights and was cautiously eyed by God.
"You know, the last time I was in Germany and I saw a man standing above everybody else, we ended up disagreeing."
Another smirk crossed Loki's face as he stood, "The Soldier. A man out of time."
The demigoddess snorted.
"Lady Persephone. A pleasure."
She poked her tongue at him, before crossing her arms, "He's not the one out of time, you ass."
From the quinjet, Natasha's voice echoed out, "Loki, drop the weapon now and stand down."
Before anyone could react, the God of Mischief shot a beam at Perci and one at Nat.
Poseidon's Daughter easily deflected it and the assassin evaded the blast in the quinjet. Captain threw his shield at Loki and was then thrown across the courtyard by the God. Perci gave him a deadly look and she slashed at him with her sword.
He barely had time to deflect it, when Steve's shield was thrown again. Loki swatted it out the way. He dodged the Celestial Bronze sword and the demigoddess's fist. The God hooked her leg with his own, sending her to her knees.
He pointed the tip of the sceptre to Perci's forehead and whispered, "Kneel."
She growled out, "Never."
Captain America launched himself at Loki but was caught and flipped.
In the quinjet, Natasha was getting a little bit worried. Perci was holding back, which was understandable. She didn't want to kill Thor's brother.
"The guy's all over the place."
Suddenly, rock music pounded through speakers of the bird. AC/DC 'Shoot to Thrill.'
Love that song!
"Agent Romanoff, did ya miss me?"
The redhead sighed.
Steve, Loki and Perci looked up as Iron Man flew over and blasted Loki in the chest, sending him sprawling on the concrete. He stared down the God, each and every weapon in his suit, pointed at him, "Make your move, Reindeer Games."
The demigoddess snorted, then grinned. She was totally gonna call him that.
Loki put up his hands, with an abashed look on his face and the armour dissipated.
"Good move."
All three look down at the surrendering God. Steve nodded at Tony, eyes still on Loki, "Mr Stark."
Tony does the same, "Captain."
Perci threw her hands up and yelled with a gleeful grin, "Perci!!"
