Thor pulled gently as his tie, incredibly uncomfortable and self-conscious. Frigga smacked his hand and Odin watched, amused.
"Do I have to wear this Father? This-"
But his mother interrupted him, "Yes Thor. Zeus has made it a formal occasion. Besides, I want you looking handsome for the ball."
A scowl crossed the blond's face, knowing he couldn't argue with Frigga. The Allfather smiled at his wife fussing over their son. He didn't know that tonight was the night he'd meet his betrothed. Although he and Zeus had not spoken whether it would be announced yet.

Thor pulled at his tie again, feeling very constricted. For some reason, he was quite anxious to see Lady Persephone, curious to see her beauty for himself. He didn't have to wait long, because soon a minor Greek God announced the arrival of the Prophesied Seven.
They moved as though they were charging into battle. Lady Persephone leading, flanked by Lady Annabeth on her left and behind the blonde demigoddess were Lord Frank and Lady Hazel. Lord Jason was on her right, followed by Lord Leo and Lady Piper.
Rumours had spread among all the Gods of the beauty of the Daughter of Poseidon. But they did her no favours.
She took his breath away. The soft curve of her sun-kissed face. The regal, high cheekbones. The small pout of on her plump, pink lips. The straightness of her small nose. The brightness of her sea green eyes that swirled with power. And the way *cough* her dark blue dress hugged her wide hips and impressive bu-uh-lean swimmer's body.
She was a sight to behold.
A small frown marred her features, and her eyes darted around like she knew she was being watched. Thor quickly averted his blue orbs to avoid being caught. But he was.
By the Greek Lady of Love.
Another rumour among the Norse and the Egyptians was that the Lady Aphrodite would turn into the woman of your desire and Eros, the man. Depending on your sexuality, of course. Now facing her, Thor watched with fascination as she morphed into an almost exact replica of Lady Persephone.
Apart from her hot pink, glittery dress.
The blond God of Lightning and Thunder, gulped when the Goddess summoned a hand mirror. She studied both sides of her face, then ran her other hand through her now black tousled locks.
The Lady of Love turned her borrowed sea green eyes to Thor, a devilish grin spreading across her face, "Well well. What do we have here?"
He spared a quick glance to the real Lady Persephone, seeing her now surrounded by a few minor Gods and a couple eccentric Goddesses. The blond had to clench his jaw to keep a blank face, but jealousy clearly reared its ugly head.
Aphrodite smiled at him and grabbed his hand. Thor looked back at the Lady of Love, "Give this to her, Darling," She poured a delicate chain into his palm then closed his hand, "You'll know when."
Internally, the Goddess was doing a little victory dance.
One down, one to go.

Perci was feeling sooooo uncomfortable.
Especially since the feeling of a heated gaze that made goosebumps tickle the back of her neck. Unlike the sensation of approaching monsters, this was actually quite warming.
Her friends had scattered, dam them, so here she was being swamped by a few minor Gods...and Goddesses.
Hey, she didn't judge. She and Annabeth had a thing for a month or two.
Thankfully, they all fled when her father growled out, "Scram."
Perci let out a relieved sigh and slumped. From nowhere, a hand slapped the back of her head. She spun around, ready to spit fire, only to find a certain grumpy satyr, "Don't slouch, Cupcake. Not the place to do it."
The demigoddess pouted at him and struggled to not rub the back of her head, worried she'd ruin her hair.
Oh, Gods, I'm becoming Aphrodite.
"Did you have to hit me so hard?"
Coach Hedge shrugged, then slung his chunk of wood over his shoulders and rested both his forearms on it. Kinda looked like a satyr scarecrow.
Die stupid crows, die!!
Poseidon coughed and Perci winced. Being the Seaweed Brain she is, she'd completely forgotten he was there.
Hedge quickly made himself scarce and the demigoddess turned slowly to face her father. Poseidon obviously couldn't give two drachmas about the ball because he was still wearing Bermuda shorts and a hideous Hawaiian shirt. His laugh-lined face was neither smiling or frowning, rather it looked apologetic, "Perci. My little Tidal Wave. I need to tell you-" The God of the Sea was interrupted when a blonde God of Lightning appeared.
Perci blushed when he gently took her hand into his.
He brushed his lips against her knuckles and met her gaze with blue eyes, "Lady Persephone. I am Thor Odinson, and it is an honour to meet you."
The light pink that had dusted the demigoddess's cheeks had darkened into a bright red.
Poseidon was shocked to see such chivalry from the young god, thinking him arrogant and battle hungry. Maybe the Sea God was wrong. He'd never admit of course.
And again, before he could say anything, the Daughter of Athena and the Son of Jupiter appeared. Annabeth was wary because she'd heard from her cousin Magnus that Thor could be quite the ladies man.
Jason however. He was dating Piper. He loved her, he did. But he'd always, since meeting the Daughter of Sea, had feelings towards her.
The blond felt guilty for loving two girls at the same time, so he had to swallow any jealousy that surfaced.
Both glared at the pair's still connected hands until Thor released Perci. Feeling protective of the black haired demigoddess, Jason planted himself between the two, unwilling to let the Norse God touch her again.
The demigod stuck out his hand and gritted his teeth before muttering out, "Jason Grace, Son of Jupiter."
Thor took it and squeezed almost painfully. Feeling a little annoyed, he sent a spark through his hand to zap the demigod. The blond God hid his shock when Jason didn't react at all.
Hang on. Jupiter is the Roman God of Lightning.
"Thor, Son of Odin."
Off to the side, Perci gave Annabeth a 'what the Hades?" look.
But the stormy grey-eyed demigoddess just shrugged.
