**Evelina’s POV** I woke up alone. There was no Gabe. No warm lips kissing me awake, no strong arms pulling me closer to a hard, warm chest as we snuggled before starting our day. The faint smell of his cologne lingered in the air, a cruel reminder of his absence. I missed him. I stretched my limbs and sat up, the empty space beside me feeling vast and desolate.
