The turning(the darkness)

There I lay awake looking up at the ceiling.The moon is the only thing lighting up my room.Why can't I fall asleep,why is the mysterious new guy at school the only thing on my mind. As I lie there thinking I doze off into a deep sleep.The first day of junior year was still on my mind.If it was the first day why did they call him a new student,but instead of worrying about it I tried to push him out of my mind.For some reason it just wasn't working instead I thought about the fact that he was so mysterious it was rather intriguing. I woke up to hearing the front door open I tiptoed through the house and peeked around to the door."oh my gosh it's just you" i said my mom then replied"Yes it's just me no worries" she begins to smile. "Is your brother up" "no,what time is it?" "it's 1:00 am" My mom Haven replied."Ok well I'm gonna go back to bed now,goodnight mom" "goodnight" my mom said back to me.I went to my room,sat down at my desk and made sure everything was ready for the next day of school but on top of my binder I found a note that read Meet me at school on the pier right by the lake,signed anonymous.In that moment I was more worried about how the person got in rather than what the note said or who the person was.I quickly put the note under my binder,took a deep breath and went to sleep.All I could dream about was the new kid but why is he in my dreams and how did a mystery person come inside, who were they and why was I dreaming him,an all I got was a image of two shadows on a boulder in the darkness.All I could think was how familiar that boulder looked.I woke up and looked at my phone it said 2:25 a.m. I began to sit up and then thought to myself is it cold in here or is it just me.I pulled the cover closer to me and bundled it around me then right as I was starting to get warm,I looked over and my window was wide open.How did it get like that I know I didn't open it,It was closed when I went to sleep earlier.I got up looked around my room it was all clear so I walked off and went to my mom's room across the hall her and Devin were fast asleep, Devin had to be in Mom's room while his room was being painted and furnished that's what happens when your mom gets a two-story house.My room got finished a week ago they started on Devon's 3 days later now that I know they're asleep I can go back to bed I've only slept about 2 hours out of the whole night.I walked back to my room crawled back in bed then got back up checked under my binder the note was still there and went back to bed and fell fast to sleep.I woke up that morning to mom waking me up saying blare why is that window open,I looked over the window was still wide open.I thought to myself I really was so tired I actually left that open all night,Mom I just forgot to shut it.well shut it before you leave my mom reminded me okay I replied as she walked away.I walked over to my desk grabbed my binder but there was the note it's missing. where could it have went I walked out of my room headed out the door love you mama i called love you too she answered.
