Blurb

Elena Vale once believed that love was something you could grow into.

Three years of marriage to Silas Crowe—the most untouchable man in Miami—taught her otherwise.

On the night she found out she was pregnant with twins, she also discovered the truth.

Another woman in his arms.

A promise whispered that was never meant for her.

A place in his life that had never belonged to her at all.

So she walked away.

No fights. No tears. No explanations.

Just a lie… and a goodbye.

What Silas never knew was that she didn’t leave alone.

She carried his children.

She bled for them.

And on a freezing night, running from the men he sent after her… she lost everything.

Or so he believed.

Years later, Elena is no longer the woman he once erased.

She has a son to protect.

A past buried in silence.

And a life built far away from the man who destroyed her.

Until fate drags them back into the same room.

He doesn’t remember her.

But he can’t stop looking at her.

And this time—

the man who once buried her

is the one begging her to stay.

Congratulations, You’re Carrying Twins
“Silas, when exactly are you planning to divorce Elena?” The woman’s dissatisfied voice drifted out from the study. Elena, who had just returned from the hospital, froze in the hallway. The color drained from her face. Silas Crowe’s voice followed, low and cool, carrying a hint of indulgence she had never heard when he spoke to her. “Whenever you want.” “And if she’s pregnant? Will you still divorce her?” “Sabrina, I won’t let you suffer even a little.” Those words erased the last trace of blood from Elena’s face. Her gaze dropped to the pregnancy report clutched tightly in her hand. The doctor’s words from earlier echoed in her ears. “Elena, congratulations. You’re about a hundred days pregnant, and it’s twins.” “Your uterine wall is thinner than average. It will be difficult for you to conceive again, so make sure you take good care of yourself.” … She had been married to Silas for three years. He had never taken precautions, yet she had never conceived. Recently, though, everything changed. Nausea hit her at the sight of food. Even the faintest smell made her gag. One of the older maids in the house had noticed and quietly urged her to get checked. “Who’s out there?” With a sharp bang, the wooden door to the study was flung open. Sabrina stepped out, dressed in an elegant white dress. When she saw Elena, a flicker of surprise crossed her delicate face. Instinctively, Elena hid the report behind her back. Sabrina didn’t miss the movement. A faint smile curved her lips before she turned back toward the study, her voice light and cheerful. “Silas, Elena’s back. I won’t disturb you two. I’m meeting a friend this afternoon for some shopping, so I’ll be heading out.” Not far away, the Crowe family’s butler hurried over to greet Sabrina warmly, his attitude completely different from how he treated Elena. Everyone in the house knew exactly who was worth pleasing. Sabrina brushed past Elena with a graceful smile, her slender back straight, elegant as a swan. The crisp sound of her high heels faded down the corridor. Elena stood stiffly before finally coming back to herself. “What is it?” Silas’s deep voice came from the study. Elena lifted her head and looked inside. The young man sat behind his desk, composed and distant. His features were sharp, his gaze cold, his presence commanding. The Crowe family stood at the top of Miami’s elite, and Silas was its sole heir. Three years of marriage had made this face familiar. They had shared the closest intimacy, yet every time she looked at him, it still felt the same as the first time. Stunning. Intimidating. “I have something to tell you.” Elena drew in a steadying breath, though her fingers trembled. She met his eyes. “Can I?” Silas seemed slightly surprised. He studied her for a moment, then gave a faint nod. “Yes. I happen to have something to tell you as well.” She already knew what he wanted to say. Elena stepped into the study and stopped in front of him. For the first time, she gathered the courage to look directly into his eyes. “Silas, I want a divorce.” A ripple finally disturbed the calm depth of his black eyes. Perhaps because she had spoken the very words he intended to say. She didn’t give him a chance to respond. “The person I love is back,” she continued. “And your first love has returned too. Silas, let’s part on good terms.” Her palm was damp with sweat as she gripped the report behind her back. Silas fell silent for a moment. His eyes narrowed slightly as he examined her face. “Are you sure?” “I am.” Elena forced her voice to remain casual, ignoring the sharp ache tightening in her chest. “You were forced to marry me back then. I married you for money. Now that we both have people we care about, why keep dragging this out and tormenting each other?” She had expected him to agree immediately. Instead, Silas tapped his fingers lightly against the wooden desk, his expression unreadable. “I’ll think about it,” he said coolly. Ignoring her surprise, his tone turned colder. “You can leave.”
