I really could not believe myself. I really thought that I would do better the very first time that I heard a person say that to me. Those words that so many longed to hear. I did not have a dream to hear them till I met Damien, but shrugging it off and shoving it far to the back of my mind because it felt like an unattainable dream was always what I did. If I had more confidence in myself and truly believed that it would not be the most absurd thing for a man of Damien’s stature to ever say those words toe, I probably would have been more prepeared for it.
