Chapter Twenty Seven
To say I was absolutely enraged as I walked into the cab that I had found for myself would be a great understatement. How on earth could have this been happening to me? I did not imagine this day ending the way that it was ending. I did not imagine this being a situation that I would have to be dealing with right now.
Not in a million years when I walked over to see Geno and get my Payment did I think that this would be happening to me right now. I was ready for him to congratulate me on my first victory, be happy for me as he gave me my share of the money but that is not what was happening right now. I did not imagine that I woul be walking out of his building with a heavy heart and boiling emotions. My blood was boiling, I could feel it.
