In a modest and unspectacular suburban home, in a leafy street in the western suburbs of Adelaide, the capital city of South Australia, a high-level meeting was in progress. While the house itself was unpretentious, the wall enclosing it from the street, and the security measures adopted by the homeowner, were not nearly as nondescript.
A heavy, thick, cement-block wall, some three metres high, surrounded the entire property. From anywhere outside the wall the house within could not be seen. There was only one entrance, a sturdy, steel, double gate, the same height as the wall, allowing entrance from, and exit to the street.
