11 Sam and Sarah wandered further from the car park than they had imagined or intended. The terrain changed constantly, and failing to concentrate on exactly where they were in relation to where they started, could easily lead to disorientation and becoming totally lost, particularly when, for much of the time, they were carefully watching where they were walking lest they stumble and sprain an ankle, or worse. Sam and Sarah were not lost, but were both relieved when they reached the cave, and the track leading to the car park.
