Don't ever let your opponent know you're scared, don't show them any sign of petty weaknesses. That's the last thing you want. Be quick on your feet. Make sure you are able to block or counter every punch or kick they throw at you and make sure you are able to throw them as well. Keep a firm stance or else you'll be knocked over easily. When you're going for the throat, punch with an open fist, that way, when the palm of your hand makes contact with their throat, it immediately breaks the trachea, either suffocating your opponent slowly or killing them instantly. It depends on the amount of force you use.
