"Where are we? How much further do we have to go?"
"It's just a few more miles from here," he said, looking around the forest. "As long as we can stay ahead of everyone, we should make it there in plenty of time."
"So what's the plan here, Duncan? I can't say I'm even remotely excited about being locked up again. What if they don't place me near your beloved and you are unable to find her?"
"I'm not sure. We might have to play this by ear. The only thing that worries me is they know about our demons, so they will be prepared for that."
"Great," I say, rolling my eyes at him
He stops and looks at me. "You have to trust me on this one. I won't let anything happen to you, Bella."
"I trust you, Duncan, but what happens if they do something you aren't expecting?"
