When I woke up, everything hurt. I opened my eyes slowly and tried to get them to focus. I'm lying in a bed but I have no idea where I am. The last thing I can remember is Duncan telling me he was sorry and then this darkness was all around me. Looking around, it's still very dark and I can't tell if it's night or day. I'm in a room with a bed. It's not anything to be proud of, but much better than I was expecting honestly.
I still have the cuffs on my wrist and the chain that was attached is long enough for me to get up and walk around the room. I look at the door and wonder if I could get away from this place. But for now, I will just have to go along with everything and hope everything works out. Honestly, though, is it really playing along if I have no clue what the f**k is go
