Whatever Duncan was expecting, I am pretty sure this isn't it. It seems he had no idea just how deep this fits into everything. We both fell into the trap, but in order to save his beloved, I would do it all again. So I am supposed to join with the darkness or it's supposed to take me over. I have no clue which, but if I have a choice, I think I should try to learn at least how to attract it and then make it go away.
I know with the amount of frustration I feel right now, learning to make it leave me alone would be a good idea. At least some semblance of control, even if it's minute. I've been taught all of my life to control what happens around me, or at least how to take control of the things that happen around me.
