Having Fun is Always a bad Idea.

cece I was happy to see that Sophie and I had some classes together. We became fast friends. She was a little nosy, but I could tell she had a good heart. I was also surprised to see that I sat next to one of the twins in almost every class. Now, somehow, I actually had plans to hang out with them after school. Granted, it was for a school project, but still, for some reason, I got the feeling they didn't like me, and I was so used to being forced to do group projects on my own that this felt almost unnatural. As I drove up to the elementary school parking lot, I could sense a question in the air. I looked at Sophie, who was seemingly internally debating something. Sophie and I had decided to take the same car to the park so we could continue our very serious discussion on what the most attractive color was. "Hey, so I hope this isn't crossing the line or rude, but was your brother born paralyzed or...." asked Sophie, see like I said nosy. "umm.. he wasn't born that way" I said, looking out the window. I was uncomfortable with this topic of conversation. Luckily, I think she sensed that and dropped the subject. Really, I felt that it wasn't my story to tell. "So what do you think about the twins?" she asked, wagging her eyebrows. "Well, I don't really know them that well why?", "just wondering, do you think they're attractive, do you feel drawn to them?". This was weird. Why was she so interested in what I thought about the twins and, most importantly, why did I feel drawn to them? I really didn't know them at all. I had just officially met them today, and yet I felt this sense of loss not being near them "um.. They're pretty cute I guess" I said, blushing. She didn't say anything in response. She just smiled. I was going to ask what brought all of this on, but I heard the final bell ring dismissing the students and a rush of kids came flooding out the gates. I got out of my car to meet Austin when I saw him come up to the car. "Hey buzz, how was school?" I asked, studying his face. I was really worried about him being bullied and being too afraid to tell me about it, though he usually did tell me everything. We were pretty close, seeing how we only had each other to rely on. "It was good I made a friend. His name is Aaron" he said, buckling himself up in his seat. "That's wonderful," I said. I was happy for him. To be honest, it was me that had trouble making friends and would often get bullied. Austin tended to make friends quite easily, but knowing that didn't stop me from worrying. "Hey, so we're going to the park for a little bit, so I can work on a project with a classmate, okay, don't worry, I have your basketball in the trunk so you won't be bored," I said, looking in the review mirror to see his reaction. If he didn't want to go, I would just cancel and come up with another plan to work on the project. "Okay" he said in his usual nonchalant way, and with that I headed straight for the park. Alec Kade was absolutely convinced that this was some sort of date so he decided to stop at a fast food joint to pick up some food. "Everyone knows that the way to a girl's heart is through her stomach," he said. I rolled my eyes as he-rolled up to the drive-thru window. He ended up getting way too much food. He practically ordered everything on the menu because he "didn't know what she would like". I half expected them to be in the park already when we finally pulled up, but I guess we still beat them here. I pulled out my phone to see if I had any messages from her. I knew i wouldn't though. It read Cece. It just felt too impersonal, so I quickly changed it to read baby. Kade looked over my shoulder to see what I was doing and smirked. "What are you looking at?" I said, shoving him. "Here I want her phone number too." He said, giving me his phone. "No, why would I do that? So you can bother her all hours of the night and send her shirtless pictures of yourself." I threw his phone on the dashboard and got out of the car, walking up to a bench table that was a little distance away from all the other ones. "Hey, she's my mate too, I have the right to send her as many shirtless pics as I want, that is if she wants them" he said, smiling and chasing after me. I rolled my eyes and set all the food on the table and began researching topics on my laptop. Hopefully, by the time she got here, we could just dive right in and start the PowerPoint. We didn't have to wait long. About five minutes later, Cece pulled up with Sophie and her brother. When I noticed her brother was in a wheelchair, I thought back to how uncomfortable she seemed when I said there was a lot of space for him to run around. Did I offend her? Why didn't she just say something? Was she embarrassed? I didn't dwell on it too much. She handed the little boy a basketball, and he immediately made his way towards the basketball court. "Hey" her melodic voice rang through my head immediately, sending shivers down my spine as she got closer, a gust of wind caused her scent to hit my like a ton of bricks, causing me to instantly get hard and stiffen. I could see my brother slightly squirming out of the corner of my eye and Sophie giving me a knowing smirk. *************** Cece The park was quite productive. We might even finish our project early. I got the feeling that Alec was a no-nonsense kind of person, while Kade was all nonsense. Surprisingly, I had a lot of fun. Between Kade cracking jokes the whole time and Alec's annoyance but clear love for his brother, I was practically laughing the whole time, plus all the food they had brought was delicious. There was quite a lot of it though, so they let me bring most of the leftovers home. I waved goodbye to Sophie, Alec, and Kade, I looked at my phone to check the time and almost had a heart attack. It was almost ten o'clock. Miranda was going to flip. I looked around to see that it was dark outside. When did that happen? How did I not notice that?! "Come on Buzz. Hurry up, we have to go." I shrieked as he struggled with his seat belt. I reached across him and did it for him. I was glad that Alec and Kade agreed to drop Sophie off because I couldn't handle an extra stop right now. I hopped in the driver's seat and sped down the road rushing to the house. God she was going to be so mad. It's not like she cared about my wellbeing, but she would want me home to make her and Dave dinner and clean the house before she gets home, and she gets home at eight. I looked at my phone again. I didn't see any text messages or missed calls. Maybe she was already passed out. I made it to the house in two minutes. I didn't see her car in the driveway. Was she not home yet? I got out of the car, then got Austin out of the car. I made my way to the steps leading up to the door. Ugh, I was going to have to make a little ramp so he could get himself up to the porch. When we got inside it was dark and dead silent, maybe no one was home. "Go get ready for bed buzz" I said dismissively as I made my way to the kitchen. I walked pass and saw Dave passed out in his recliner and I stopped dead in my tracks I turned around to go to my room. "STOP RIGHT THERE B*TCH". I froze again I turned around slowly to see Dave making his way towards me. My heart was beating uncontrollably I could practically hear it in my ears as he got closer. The smell of alcohol infiltrating my nose making me gag. "The f*ck you got that look on your face for" he said, throwing a glass bottle at my feet "where the hell where *hic* you all day." He hiccuped in the middle of his sentence. Even more conformation that he was drunk out of his mind "Where's Miranda", I said, looking around in hopes she would pop up and put an end to this. Miranda was a horrible mother and a sh*tty person but she would never let him put his hands on me because it would reflect badly on her. "The hell I *hic* know where your wh*re of a *hic* mother went", he stumbled closer to me and I backed into the island counter. "Your just like your *hic* mother, I bet that's what you were out doing, isn't it. You were out wh*ring around" he was only a few inches away from me now. Austin was most likely asleep already and even if we weren't, I couldn't call him to come help me, he was just a little boy. My thoughts were interrupted by a sharp sting in my jaw. I looked up wide-eyed and horrified. "ANSWER ME WHEN I TALK TO YOU B*TCH", he screamed in my face. My eyes began to water as my legs shook with fear. "Here" he said as he grabbed two dollars out of the pocket of his sweats and threw them at me. "This should be more than enough to buy some of your time" he said, grasping my chin with his fingers. I couldn't hold it back anymore. I began to sob "SHUT UP I PAID YOU", he yelled, hitting me in the stomach. I almost fell forward, but he was so close that his body stopped me. He pushed against the island, so there was no space between us and put his hand under my shirt to cup one of my breasts through my bra and sloppily kissed the bruise forming on my jaw. The smell of the alcohol and his overall stench was enough to make anyone throw up. He slipped his hand into my bra and pinched my n****e so hard that I screamed out in pain. I hoped that wouldn't wake up Austin. "Reminds you of old times, doesn't it?" he whispered in my ear, causing me to shiver, but it wasn't a good type of shiver. It wasn't the kind I got when I heard Kade say my name. When I heard him say my name, it was a feeling of pure bliss, the same kind of bliss I got from touching Alec's hand, huh? Why was I thinking about them all of a sudden? Now was hardly the time I had to figure out how to get out of here. The feeling of Dave unbuttoning my jeans took me out of my daze and sent a new wave of fear to rush through me. No no no he can't. I couldn't let him. Dave's never quite went all the way with me, but it wasn't from the lack of trying. I was always able to get away before then. I felt his hand slide into my pants and, rub me through my underwear, I pushed him back, but I wasn't able to get him fully off of me. "Fine, you want to use your hands so badly", he griped my hand and shoved it down his sweats. I was disgusted to find he wasn't wearing any underwear. He wrapped my hand around his tiny length and began to move it up and down. I tried to yank my hand away, but he was much stronger than I was. He kept one hand in my pants rubbing me while using his other hand to keep making me stroke him. I looked around for anything to help me. I still had one hand free. I saw a can of Lysol and thought that that was better than nothing. I grabbed it and sprayed it in his face, causing him to stumble back coughing. I threw the bottle at his head. I ran towards Austin's room and slammed the door, locking it. "Cece what's wrong?" I heard a groggy Austin say "nothing buzz. Go back to sleep" I sat in the corner of Austin's room until I heard the front door open and peeked out to see Miranda walk in. She looked at me curiously but then walked upstairs. There was no Dave in sight, so I quickly went to my room to grab clothes and head into the shower. I looked at myself and saw the bruises on my chin and stomach that were forming. I got in the shower and scrubbed my skin until it was red and put on some moisturizer hoping that would help the redness. As soon as I lay on my bed, I broke down crying. I couldn't wait to get out of here.
