Alec
To say that Nathan and Gavin were shocked would be an understatement. It's not every day that a wolf and a human are fated. It's even rarer that an alpha wolf is fated to a human. They had taken it pretty well though. I knew it wouldn't be so easy for the rest of the pack. Many view humans as weak and wouldn't want one to lead them.
We will be holding a conference for the whole pack next week to announce the finding of our Luna. It's safe to say that I have completely abandoned the whole avoiding her plan and have decided to completely throw caution to the wind and make her mine as soon as possible. I knew it would take a decent amount of wooing and reassurance, especially since there were two of us.
While multiple dating was kind of common in the wolf world, it was not something humans did, so convincing her to be with both Kade and me would be somewhat of a challenge. I knew we could do it, though why else would fate bring us together?
Unfortunately, it was the weekend, so we wouldn't be able to see her for two whole days. Part of me just wanted to text her and ask to meet up, but I was a little nervous, we weren't exactly close yet, and last time we talked she seemed a bit mad. Kade suddenly busted into my room looking like he had run a marathon.
"What!?!" I asked, alarmed. "I saw her. She's out in the woods, come on", he ran back out of the room, not even caring to explain. We jumped off the rail of the third story, landing onto the first floor and ran out the door. Kade wasted no time shifting and I followed his lead.
After following him some distance into the woods, I began to smell her delicious strawberry scent. I raced towards it, stopping in my tracks when I spotted her asleep resting on a boulder in a large clearing. The moonlight shined on her, making her look like a magical creature from out of this world.

I slowly woke up, fluttering my eyes open and scanned my surroundings. For a minute I forgot where I was, then remembered I had come out here to gather my thoughts. As I looked around, I couldn't help feeling like I was being watched. My heart stopped, and I paled when I saw two large black wolves slowly making their way toward me.
I quickly stood up and grabbed a large stick, swinging it in front of them. "Stop," I screamed and was surprised to see them listening. They had stopped. The wolf on the left had slowly picked up one of his front paws and placed it back down like it was trying to tiptoe closer to me. Part of me wanted to laugh.
I took my eyes off the wolf on the right, which seemed to be obediently sitting there. It was the wolf on the left who thought this was funny. "I mean it, don't take another step," I said. The wolf lay on its stomach and began to roll over in my direction. I stared at it flabbergasted, and it seemed to be laughing at me.
"Hey you, come get your friend" I said, talking to the other wolf. The wolf next to me definitely began laughing at me this time. It was making a high-pitched panting sound and I swear it was smiling. Could wolves smile? The other wolf came and grabbed the first one by the back of its neck, gently tugging with its teeth and pulling it back.
After successfully retreating, the good wolf sat back on his hindlegs looking like it was waiting for a reward. These wolves weren't that scary, or maybe I was just going insane. I carefully began walking towards them with my hand out. I carefully pet the top of his head and moved my other hand to scratch his jaw. He began to purr and rubbed his head against me.
The other wolf stared at us almost like he was jealous. He began to whine and rub his head against the back of my legs, trying to get me to pet him. "No, you were being a bad boy, you hear me bad," I said, waving my finger to get my point across. He looked up at me completely offended, and walked under a tree to lay down and sulk.
I turned my attention back to the good boy. "I bet it gets tiring looking out for him, doesn't it," I asked, making puppy dog eyes as I continued to pet him. He made puppy dog eyes and began to nod his head, to which the other wolf huffed at, looking offended all over again.
"Aww poor baby" I cooed, kissing the spot between his eyes. He purred loudly. Now the other wolf was really mad and began to growl at the good boy. The good boy huffed and turned his head as if he were too mature to deal with bad boys' foolishness. This was getting out of hand. How did two wolves have so much personality?
I walked over to the bad boy and petted the top of his head. "There, there, don't be mad at your friend. Don't wolves have to stick together?" I asked. The wolf nodded his head. "Do you guys have names?" The wolf nodded again. Hmm, let's see, here. Honestly, the way these wolves acted reminded me of something, but I couldn't think of what.
I walked back to the boulder I had slept on to find my phone and checked the time. Jeeez, it was already two in the morning. "I got to get home" I said, rushing to get all my things in order. I stuffed my phone in my back pocket and wrapped my jacket around my waist.
I started looking around and realized I didn't know my way back to the house. It was considerably darker than when I first arrived.
"Shoot, how do I get out of here?" I asked, frantically looking around. Great, I really am going insane. I'm asking two wolves for directions. They stared at me with their heads tilted almost as if in amusement.
"Don't just stand there. Help me, Miranda and Dave are going to kill me if they catch me sneaking back in this late." One of the wolves began running in one direction while the other ran in the opposite. I scoffed, did they just abandon me? I don't know why I felt so betrayed. They were wild wolves after all, but for some reason I felt drawn to them just like I did with Alec and Kade. I inwardly gasped. That's who they reminded me of.
Alec
Kade and I ran in search of any houses in the area that had Cece's scent. I felt so giddy, she kissed me, she actually kissed me. My wolf was purring non-stop. Kade mind-linked me that he had picked up her scent about ten minutes away from where we found her. He was upset that he hadn't gotten his own kiss, but it was his own fault for acting like he was still a pup, playing games. He was freaking her out.
We walked back to the clearing we left her at only to find that she had begun wandering around aimlessly on her own. Kade blocked her path and tried to nudge her in the direction he had found her scent.
"Ugh, you again, I don't have time to play. I really need to get home. Dave doesn't like it when I'm out all night." I guessed Dave was her dad and she called him by his first name like she did her mom. I hoped to meet them soon. It was only right as I wished to make their daughter my bride eventually. I wondered how her dad would react when he inevitably learned that my brother and I were trying to get her to enter a relationship with both of us.
Any normal human father would be pissed and probably a little disgusted. I wondered for a fleeting moment if she would be disgusted, then remembered that we were fated, and she was literally made for us and us her.
Kade grabbed her jacket off her waist with his teeth and began running in the direction of her scent. "Hey," she yelled, running after him. We quickly made it to the edge of the woods, where she could see her house. She huffed and hit Kade on the head with her palm and took her jacket before realizing her house was right there.
"Oh" she said. "Maybe you're not a bad boy after all," she said, petting his head and giving him a little kiss. Kade purred. She walked toward the house and turned around to wave at us, "Bye, see you around, hopefully next time I can bring you some treats," she said before continuing to walk. We waited to make sure she got inside safely before we went back to the packhouse.
