Chapter Eleven The food was fabulous, as was the wine. More amazing to me, though, was how easy I found it to sit there and talk to Allan, whether discussing something as simple as whether I should add a second bathroom to my modest house — it would definitely increase the resale value, but since I didn’t plan on going anywhere, I wasn’t sure whether the expense and the hassle was worth it — or what we should do with our time over the next week.
