CHAPTER 17; The Arrival

It's six o'clock in the evening and almost all the guests invited for Brix's birthday have arrived, as well as all the members of his pack.
Brix's mother, Josephine, was the one who organized everything. She kindly greeted and attended to all the guests.
"Josephine!" Josephine turned to the source of that voice.
It's Amanda the Luna from their neighboring pack, Lexus.
They have known each other for a long time and it can be said that their pack has a good relationship.
That's why when she saw Amanda she immediately left what she was doing to face and accommodate her Amanda's companions.
"How are you? I'm happy you were able to attend this special day.
They gave each other a kiss of greeting on the cheek.
"Why not? We attend Brix's birthday every year, so why should we miss this year?
Crizell lamely said. She is Luna, Amanda's only child.
"I'm happy to see you too,Crizell," Josephine said as she gave the girl a kiss on the cheek.
Brix is five years older than Crizell but she has loved him since childhood, Secretly.
She is the type of woman who only does what she wants. She is a perfect image of a modern woman.
Who is free to do whatever she wants?
Just like today, all women were wearing gowns except for her who was wearing rock star attire.
She was the only one wearing a leather jacket, boots and mini skirt in a formal event like the one held tonight.
She was wearing all black, even her lipstick and fingernails, as well as her thick eyeliner on her eyes.
"Oh- look at you! Y-you look so gorgeous."
Josephine said with a slight frown as she scrolled down her eyes to see Crizell's. She seemed unsure of what she said.
"I know right!" I knew it, aunty, we really have the same taste, that's why Brix and I are a perfect match, right?"
Crizell,confidently said as she crossed her arms over her chest. Not knowing the fact that Brix had already found his mate.
"Where is he,anyway?"I haven't seen him in a while." As the girl said her eyes wandered around at the same time.
"A-actually. Josephine hesitated if she should say it or just let Crizell find out for herself.
"Oh there he is!"
Crizell exclaimed as she waved up her hand in the air at Brix, who was just about to leave the Mansion.
"Brix has become so handsome, hah." Amanda said jokingly, while her daughter Crizell couldn't hold back anymore and immediately approached Brix.
"Woaw! Alpha, look who's coming."
Arlo said that he was at the door with a wine glass in his hand.
Brix didn't even have to bother about who his beta was referring to because he already recognized the smell of the woman who was coming to him.
"She's like a storm coming your way.
Arlo lamely said.
"Shut up! "" You take care of her, alright?"
After saying that, Brix started walking.
"W-what?!" Arlo exclaimed.
Thinking that Brix would meet her that way, an ear-to-ear smile appeared on Crizell's lips.
"Hi Brix-"
But he seemed like a wind just passed her by. Brox seems to have nothing to hear or see.
Instead, Brix went to the location of the two ladies who were talking about him, his mother and Crizell's mother, Amanda.
"Hi there, ladies."
He said, smiling as he approached them.
Amanda laughed at Brix's very gentlemanly greeting.
"Mom, who is this beautiful young lady?
Brix jokingly added something that made the lady laugh even more.
"You still haven't changed, you're still too funny,Brix."
Brix grinned as he hugged and gave the lady a kiss on the cheek as a polite greeting.
"How are you, aunty? We haven't seen you for a while.
"Just like you said,still beautiful. At the same time, the lady laughed at what she said, together with Brix's mother.
Before Brix could say another word, he saw a sleek black car pull in from the gate.
It was him. Even though his two eyes can't see yet, there is a part of his mind that knows who owns the car.
Until it stopped and the passengers got out.
And because of confusion at Brix's sudden silence, Josephine turned in that direction to find out what the reason was.And that was the moment she saw the familiar face that came out of the car.
She immediately turned to Brix, who was watching her reaction.
"Brix," Josephine said in almost a whisper. She did not know how to process her feelings at the moment.
Even the guests who were there were surprised and muttered questions due to the sudden appearance of the face of a man who looked exactly like Brix.
They have different hair styles and clothes but they both have the same face and body shape.
Carla's arm was immediately wrapped around Jack's arm,she was confidently grinning to the ears of those who were looking at them.
They seemed to be a royal couple who were given way by those there when they entered.
Of course, many were amazed and impressed by Carla's beauty, something that gave her complete self-confidence.
She was wearing a red gown that sparkled with small diamonds every time it was hit by the light.
But despite all the whispers of admiration from those who were there for her beauty, her captivating eyes were focused on only one and it was Brix.
"And who are they? I mean, it's obvious that that man is Brix's twin, but that woman, why is she looking at Brix like that?
"She's irritating."
Crizell frowned out of annoyance when she saw how the newly arrived woman stared at Brix.
"Actually, both of you are just irritating.
Crizell turned around at Arlo's words before placing the wine glass he was holding on a table.
"Excuse me? Crizell exclaimed.
"Don't be ambitious about getting Brix because someone already owns him.
After saying that, Arlo stepped towards the main entrance of the mansion to meet another woman who was about to come out of that door.
Everyone looked that way. And the attention that earlier was on the newly arrived couple was grabbed by a woman standing at the big door of the mansion.
A sweet smile appeared on the lips of the birthday celebrant, Brix, the moment his eyes landed on that woman.
Then he immediately walked to approach her , who was obviously feeling nervous at the moment.
