Is this the beginning of the end??

AndrewI took a deep breath and pushed away from the wall. It could all wait, nothing was as important as solving her. It's so hard to even think when she's around not that it's just her here in my head. We are supposed to be the new and upcoming pack and yet we are picking fights with each other because fate is cruel and made us all mated to the same wild card. We had been using our mind link all day trying to come up with what other supernaturals she had powers like. We had gotten it down to a few but none of it made sense. How could a phoenix be part fae, angel and demon, when they couldn't even have offspring with other races? I decided to stop by the office and see what he was able to pull up about her. The door was closed so he was in a meeting. Struck me as weird, consisting it was only the first day who he would have to talk to. I rested my ear next to the door, so I wouldn’t get hit if it opened. 

"Shut your pie traps you translucent pigs. Maybe you guys should have joined my class, quite a show and tell, if you ask me " snorted Corday. At the stretch of silence she continued. "No exact clue what the little one is, but you should be afraid. I haven't seen power like that in my life. Even outshines all the Alphas I know. Though I guess I shouldn't be surprised since an Alpha's son leaves his pack to pledge allegiance to another.  Haven't heard that often enough to not make my wings shudder at the powers wrapped under her skin". Hearing what Mrs. Corday had to say chilled me to bones. I wasn't aware of her having an Alpha referring to her as an Alpha. I couldn't stay a second longer and dashed to our safe place telling them all to meet me there as I went. Nothing good can come of this.

Exos and Ash were f*****g around with each other as I arrived. Which was good, no one else seemed able to fix his mood faster. For this I needed everyone in a decent mood. Titus strolled up looking as if I ruined some big plans for him. All we were missing was Alpha who flew over our heads and perched in a tree. "Well since everyone's here we have to talk… so it seems our little mate's pack could be compromised and she might be in danger. An Alpha's son has made her his Alpha and the only Alpha son that I don't physically know would be Alpha Archers. I think it's a trap. He will lure her to his father and we will lose our mate. He has to go, what do you say?" 

"Thieve…"

"Bastard..."

"I'll kill them both…"

"Silence you fools. That’s what she's made us into is fools." Paxton stated. "While you were all sitting there drooling over her I already knew the danger she might have been in. But, I also know that Alpha Archer is dead. My contacts have confirmed it multiple times. The main question you all are thinking is why, why did his son Alex join her pack. I've already cornered him and questioned him. He wasn't too thrilled especially when he called me out on the mate bond. He swears it was his mate that joined her pack and the only way to get to be with her was to also join". 

His little speech threw us for a spin. "You f*****g knew our mate could've been in danger and choose not to tell us!?!" Raged Exos. "You recognized Archer's son and chose to keep a secret. You are a terrible Alpha". His face was red with rage as he stormed away. I looked at Paxton who looked pained to say the least. Ash ran after Exos after shooting a deadly glare. Even Titus seemed hurt by the revelation and backed away. 

"Alpha…" I said hesitantly. At his look I continued on "That's not the worst news, your father is looking into her and he knows about Alex. He might come to the conclusion that she has something to do with his death. What I can remember is-s-s that Alpha Archer was his childhood best friend. He'll go for blood, her blood." I urgently said through the panic and fear. He was going to go after her, and nothing short of death would stop him. That of all things scared me the most. She might be strong but he didn't play fair and that's how he does currently own me even if I'm not treated as a slave that is practically what I am. Used to be a spy I had to be diligent and smart. If necessary to terminate the opponent which meant I had to get into the head of anyone and everyone. He screwed up there because even I could get into his head, death was waiting there. I've seen my mate fight, she is brutal but I've also seen Alpha Aaron he fights dirty pulling all the dirty cards.
