Andrew
What I didn't tell my father was that half the vampires on campus reacted out of fear saying death was here. Such a poetic bunch if you ask me. They always do that when a new fire user starts school. After all, fire is the most efficient way to kill us. As I chuckled walking the path back to my classroom. My dead heart churned at how I reacted though. I swear I felt it beat. It startled the living s**t out of me. So I went to see dad and figure out what was going on. Without letting him know what my other half was, he has already figured out that I'm a hybrid just not what my mix is just yet. Last thing I need him to do is figure it out. Asher, or Ash as we've taken to call him, invited me to join them in our lair so to say. He was the easiest to get along with and tried to keep the group light, because our darkness could easily drown all that was around us especially the ones we care about. As I thought on going or not I lost my thoughts to the blue haired spitfire, her name was O'Maiya such a sweet name for such a vicious girl.I made it back into our hallway and smelt blood which is normal but this is fresh and must be vampire blood because it wasn't causing a dull ache in my stomach. The issue was that it was causing my bones to feel like ice. Which meant death was coming for someone. So I could either attempt to help and possibly reveal what I am and be hunted to death, or run away and take no chances I would be the one to reap the soul.
I went to step away when Marie, a vampire that was turned two years ago cried for help. So I stepped down the hall expecting it to be her down and needing assistance, but instead it was our favorite teacher Mr. . He was the right hand for vampire lord but his interests aligned with caring for us instead of taking on the more violent missions that others were made for. I couldn't just abandon him in his time of need. So I zipped down the corridor to our classroom. As I threw open the door all the eyes turned towards me. "Quickly I need as much blood as we can spare" I shouted at them as I dove to my bag to get my reserves. As vampires we are cautioned to take blood with us wherever we go so we won't incite an incident, or worse a death.
The others sluggishly moved towards their bags and looked hesitant to give their supply to the half-breed. Erik stood there looking as if those of us that moved lost their minds. "Why should you get our reserves. When you aren't even good enough to have a real family" he snarled as if I was worse then the dirt under his shoes. Erik happened to be the favorite of our generation as a full-blood from an old family. Unlike the rest of us as half-bloods or turned.
"You'll do it or Mr. will die. Don't you f*****g understand your competence might be the death of him" I said as calmly as possible. Which wasn't much, it was getting colder for me. He was slipping away and rather fast. That shocked almost everyone else into motion. We marched to him with speed as an army going to war. He was so pale I didn't think that the blood would do him any good but I had to try.
As I held the bag in front of his face his icy fingers wrapped around my wrist and pulled it forward. "The f*****g phoenix will be the death of us. She bares the marks of the forgotten" he whispered to me and only me. Then he sank his teeth into the bag and fed. It didn't seem to help him at first but after multiple bags his wounds closed, and he sank into a deep sleep.
Marie yanked me aside as I walked away and vigorously demanded what he had said. The only reply I could give without putting too much attention to who I believe is the one who caused this. Was to tell her that all he wanted was to say thank you. I could feel some discontent from the few members of the pack that we had made. Maybe I could help with some of their issues and they could try to figure out this issue that could destroy everything. So I went to join them in our secret spot.
