Sudden Calamity: Survival

Wolves

Around noon, Alice found a lot of footprints outside the fence. They looked like dog footprints, there weren’t so many dogs around here – they were wolves. At some point, a fine layer of cold sweat broke out on Alice’s forehead. Alice looked for weapons and found that she bought a crossbow, a shotgun, a chainsaw, and found a row of bamboo in the utility room. Alice remembered that her grandfather had planted a large bamboo forest. The thick bamboo had a diameter of about 15 centimetres and a height of more than ten metres or even twenty metres. The outer skin of the bamboo is very hard. Alice cut the shape of the bamboo with a knife and tied it with a sharp iron arrow. Panting from exhaustion, she slumped on the ground. Several blisters had appeared on Alice’s palms.

She grabbed her water bottle, took a break with two sips of water, and was done. The next moment, Alice threw away the water bottle, jumped up like a grasshopper, and quickly put the fish shooter in her hand.

Alice looked around with a telescope, and found that 60 metres away from her, in a hidden corner of the bamboo forest, a pair of greedy and cold eyes were staring at Alice intently. There were nine wolves.

Its fur was silvery white, with two triangular ears standing up high, and a pair of dark and cold pupils, making people shudder. Its mouth was very big, its tongue slightly exposed, the lips on both sides slightly drooping downwards. If you show a little fear and make a little fearful movement, the wolf would definitely pounce on you. Damn it!

Alice didn’t know where the courage came from. Without even thinking about it, she raised her hand, moved her fingers, and let out a howling noise.

Alice remained motionless. Her crossbow trembled, and sharp arrows roared out.

The other wolves in the pack were frightened, turned their bodies backwards, and retreated with howls. Without the slightest hesitation, the wolves’ survival wisdom is very high.

Alice shot a total of 4 wolves to death. In the snow, the temperature was very low, and the meat was hard to rot. Most of them were old wolves. After handling the wolf meat, Alice chopped the wolf belly, wolf intestines, and other offal. In order to deter the wolves from attacking again, four wolf skins and four wolf heads were hung outside the safety zone. Not just wolves, people would be afraid to see them.
