I’m not entirely sure how the past few days always ended up with me crying or under very uncomfortable situations or just exhausted.
Right now, it was the middle one, and I try hard not to meet Lexie’s eyes, which are drilling holes in my body while staring at me hard. Caelan left for a while to make Caspian take a bath, which was a whole ordeal in itself, but with much coaxing, he did enter the bathroom. But convincing Caspian to take a bath means Caelan has to follow him, which left me alone with Lexie. Originally, Caelan wanted him to take Caspian for a bath but he whined about being too overdressed to get wet, so Caelan had no choice but to leave me alone.
