“Oh, you’re here already? I didn’t think you would be this early.” Caelan’s surprised face greeted me as soon as he opened the door and saw me smiling by the doorway, already dressed in my work clothes that he has grown accustomed to seeing for the past few weeks.
“Sorry, did I come too early? I think I did, you’re not even dressed yet.” I said, taking the sign of Caelan stepping aside to let myself in like how it’s been going lately. The past few weeks that passed after I trusted him with some of my past was actually pretty nice. We weren’t awkward at all when we saw each other and if anything, we’ve become more comfortable around each other. It also felt pretty nice, having to take the burden of keeping something like this from him off my chest. I know he wasn’t going to judge
