The movie, and talking with Mark, proved to be a perfect distraction for me, but as all distractions were, it was temporary and now it has served its purpose.
As soon as the movie was done, I managed to convince Mark to go to sleep and we ended the call, but unlike Mark who was probably sleeping comfortably now, I, on the other hand, couldn’t do that. Well, technically, I could, but I refuse to let my break go as a waste like this, so looking around my apartment for something to do, I decided to just clean.
But there’s only so much to clean in an apartment that is barely lived in yet, so now I’m stuck wondering what I should do. My thoughts were still on the phone call I had with Mimi, or well, Caspian, and I promised myself not to think about it for today.
