(Alexander's POV)
I strode through the pack hospital corridors with Dr. Katherine Moore, the renowned Northern Territory healer. The sterile scent filled my nostrils as we approached Victoria's room.
Suddenly, a blood-chilling howl pierced the air. I quickened my pace and pushed the door open.
Victoria sat bolt upright, her golden hair wild around her face. Her eyes were wide with terror, pupils dilated to where the green was barely visible. She clutched silver-lined blankets to her chest, rocking back and forth.
"Don't touch me!" she shrieked. "I'll give you silver crystals! Territory rights! Anything!"
Marcus Silver stood beside her, tears streaming down his face. "It started ten minutes ago," he choked out. "She just... broke."
