(Grace's POV)
Lucas’s omega sanctuary was a haven. Small, quiet, and safe. But the second Alexander walked into the warm, calm space, his presence destroyed all of that.
His golden eyes burned with restrained anger, his broad silhouette dominating the room. The peaceful energy seemed to shrink away from him, replaced by tension that made my chest tight.
“I’m taking you back,” he said, his voice low, harsh, and commanding.
There were no pleasantries. No questions. Just an order.
Lucas stiffened beside me, his amber eyes flickering nervously between us. “She’s resting, Alpha,” he said carefully, his tone polite but firm. “Her condition—"
Alexander’s glare silenced him instantly. “I don’t recall asking for your opinion,” he cut in sharply.
