He was in the shower . I didn't know what to do other than enter the bed .
Sleep wouldn't come early today .
His bed had his scent. I covered myself with his comforter.
I shut my eyes when he came from the bathroom.
He vanished into his dressing room. Shortly he got on the bed.
" I can tell you aren't asleep" he said.
I opened my eyes. He settled in next to me . We stared at each other , no touching, or cuddling , just us gawking at each other . Wondering what each is thinking of the other.
I yawned . I was really sleepy. I had a long day ahead of me .
