Later that night, I heard a knock on the door. I hesitated for a moment, before I opened the door.
When I opened the door, I saw two men standing before me, dressed in short gowns and high heels, with their faces painted with elaborate makeup.
Behind them a maid silently pushed a cart filled with beautiful and expensive clothes. It was a surprising and unexpected sight.
I wondered who these people were and what they wanted. They seemed strange but Interesting and I wanted to know more.
“Ciao, Mrs Marino!” they said, waving their hands in a friendly way.
“We were sent by Giovanni, to help you get dressed for the party tonight” they said with a warm smile as they took my hand and led me to a chair, where they began to work their magic.
