Chapter 19

P.O.V. beth

After Ren and Jack went to their room the rest of us decided it was a good idea to sit outside for a while. And we're all glad that we went outside cause we could all hear ren and jack from the clearing by the house. We all talked and laughed until they stopped making noises.

It was strange thinking about sleeping in the same bed as kevin. I liked him alot and we have gotten very close since Ren, Katie and I got here. He said he wants to make me his chosen mate but something lately has been weird with my wolf. Every time he's near she gets all excited, but whenever I ask her what is up she decides then is a good idea to shut up. Her name is Gem. She's a beautiful pure black wolf that thinks she's the best there is.

I don't know what Kevin's wolf looks like or what his name is. But he says ill get to meet him soon.

Katie , Thomas , Kevin and I are all in the kitchen while I cook breakfast. I know the smell of bacon, eggs, sausage and pancakes would wake up ren. It always did, it made waking her up so much easier.

As Katie and I started moving the plates filled with food I heard footsteps coming down the stairs. I smiled knowing the sound of her feet. I sit down next to Kevin as Ren comes into the kitchen with a huge smile on her face.

“I knew I smelled some of Beth's pancakes” she says sitting down in one of the few open seats and started piling food onto her plate.

“Now I know why you told me not to go wake them up,” Katie says with a laugh.

“I told you I had my ways of getting her out of bed without knocking on her door…this is how I would get her up if my knocking didn't work she can never resist all of this” i say with a laugh as i gesture to the food on the table.

“I'm going to keep that in mind”Jack says walking into the kitchen and sits down next to her.

“I'm sure you're going to keep a lot of things in mind when it comes to ren” Thomas says with a smug look on his face.

“What's that supposed to mean?” he asks looking confused. But Ren goes bright red knowing that we all heard them last night.

“Just wait buddy it'll come to you '' Thomas says laughing. He looks over at Ren as she tries to hide her face behind her hair.

And then it hits him and he throws a piece of sausage at Thomas causing us all to start laughing.

“Hey don't waste the food” Ren whines at Jack as she starts cutting her pancakes.

“It is shocking how skinny you are…with how much you love food” I say, shaking my head.

“What do you mean i don't eat that much” she says with a sly smile. And we all look and point to her plate that is piled high with food.

“O all of this? I'm hungry after last night that's all…..my plate never has this much food on it” she says taking a bite of beacon.

“Your plate always looks like that…stop trying to play it cool in front of jack…he already worships the ground you walk on '' Katie says laughing.

P.O.V. ren

I glare over at Beth and Katie but then look over at Jack and smile.

“Ya they are right i looooove food…what can i say beth is a great cook” i say putting more food in my mouth and jack just starts laughing.

“It's ok…your body is amazing so i don't care” he says making me blush and everyone groans.

“Jack it's bad enough that we heard you guys last night we don't need to hear about it the next day” thomas groans shaking his head

“Yeah we had to sit outside until you guys were done…we were tired but you guys kept going like bunnies” beth says

“It's not like you guys haven't done it yet so shut up” i say pouting.

Breakfast went on like this, us going back and forth picking on each other. It was nice, I was so used to it just being Beth and i that this felt great. After our parents died no one in rising moon (old pack) wanted to be around us and when they were they looked at us strangely and acted like they couldn't get away from us fast enough. The midnight moon pack was going to be great for both of us. I just hope kevin and beth mark each other soon so that alpha levi doesn't figure out that they aren't second chance mates.

The Tobias guy still makes me nervous being here but i've tried to put it out of my mind. We mostly stay here at the house and just find things to do to entertain us, but it is going on our fourth day and we are all starting to go crazy.

We're all sitting in the living room watching the boys play Call of duty on the xbox when Jack gets a phone call. He stands and walks out of the room answering his phone but he wasn't gone for very long he comes back in with a very serious look on his face.

“My father and mother want to speak to us now” he says and we all follow him out the door and load up in the cars and drive over to the main pack house to meet with jeremy. I wonder what Jack is so concerned..

I reach over and grab his hand pulling him out of his thoughts “is everything okay” i ask feeling how concerned he is worries me.

“I don't know all my dad said was that he need us all there as soon as possible…he didn't give me a reason and it really concerns me”

“I know it does, I can feel you” I say, squeezing his hand gently. He looks over at me as he pulls up in front of the main pack house and we all climb out and head for the doors. And head straight to his fathers office.

We all stop right outside the door and Jack knocks on the door.

“Come in” he says

We open the door and all file in. When we all get in, Kevin closes the door behind him.

“So we might have a big problem on our hands” he says.
