Chapter 10

P.O.V. ren

Jack didn't come back for the rest of the night, Katie and Beth came by and I told them what happened and why Jack reacted the way he did. They tried to reassure me that everything will be okay.

‘Is he mad at me?’ I ask phoenix.

‘From what i've overheard from onyx hes not hes mad at whoever took you, he's also mad at himself for not being able to protect you like he should of’

‘He should be mad at himself’ i say rolling over starting to feel very tired.

‘Go to sleep, we will talk in the morning’ she says as I drift off to sleep.

P.O.V. jack

I come back and find Ren fast asleep, I sigh walking over to her and laying down behind her carefully wrapping my arms around her, she jerks awake and sits straight up screaming.

“Get away from me!’ she yells pushing me off the bed. I hit the ground with a loud thud.

“Ren it's me calm down baby” I say , getting up and touching her face. She stops screaming and starts crying. I pull her to me rocking her back and forth.

“I'm sorry…i forgot…i thought i was back in that place” she said sobbing into my chest.

“Ren, I swear to the goddess you will never go back to that place…I'm not letting you out of my sight,” she sighs into my chest, finally relaxing.

‘What exactly did they do to her?’ I ask onyx.

‘I have no idea but I can find out from phoenix if she feels comfortable telling me’ he says then goes silent. It felt like forever waiting for him to get back to me. I need to know exactly what they did to her. All of a sudden flashes of Ren in a cage show before my eyes it's like a movie.

I see Ren laying on the ground, her eyes open but not moving. Suddenly the door opens and shuts silently. A man walks in, opens the cage and slowly walks up to ren. He rolls her over and bends over her.

“Hey there little wolf..you can't move at all…very interesting” he says with an evil smile on his face. I can see the fear in her eyes. He then rips her clothes off, exploding her beautiful skin. He has his way with her. I feel rage bubble in my chest. Noo get off of her i try to scream and help her but its like im a ghost in this moment in time.

Its like time goes faster and the wolf that was r****g my love is now gone ren is chained to the back wall her back facing out and theres a different wolf standing behind her with a whip in his hand.

“No one is going to save you…no one cares that you're even gone so stop trying to run” he says as the whip licks across her back. She bites down on her lower lip braking skin making blood drop down her lip. I hear her mumble “ I will not cry out” . She repeats this over and over again.

“Get up child” a voice says from the darkness.

“Were leaving the alpha said to go get you” the voice was soft and kind but nervous.

“I will not go anywhere willingly…YOU WILL NEVER BREAK ME…I KNOW YOU'RE OUT THERE YOU PIECE OF s**t!!!'' Ren screams at the top of her lungs. I smile with pride, no matter what happened to her she never broke down.

Another flash and four men walked into the room unlocked her cage door, two of them grabbing her and dragging her from the room and up the stairs and out into a courtyard. She then attacked the men and took off into the woods in wolf form slowly at first then she slowly started to speed up. They changed direction and then all of a sudden wolves surrounded her….my wolves …then i see myself running over screaming for them to stop and ren drops to the ground. My vision finally comes back to normal. Ren is looking at me.

“She showed you what happened didn't she?” she says. I just nod not having the words, i pull her closer to me. After some time she touches my face. I look down at her with tears in my eyes.

“You never broke” is all i say.

“All i could think about was getting back to you and my family and the life we could have” she says sitting up.

“When i escaped i overheard some men talking…they were going to kill me so i took my chance and ran…the whole time all i could think about was getting back to you”

I smile down at her caressing her face “lets get some more sleep my love” she cuddles up to me and we fall asleep.

P.O.V. ren

I was glad that he didn't run off this time when we showed him everything that happened to me. He was there and showed me he was there. I saw the way he reacted to the vision of myself in that place. I'm still not sure how we were able to show him what happened to us. Phoenix hasn't told me everything. Honestly I wish she would tell me everything so I could better protect myself and the ones I love.

Katie rushes into the room, fear in her eyes, i sit up straight concerned.

“Whats wrong” i ask

“Our alpha is here demanding that you, me and Beth come home,” she says.

“You and I don't belong to his pack any longer, what makes him think he can just demand we come home?” I say , trying to wake jack.

“He was told that our mates are part of this pack and he said that he doesn't care that he did not give us permission to leave the pack and we need to return '' I nod and slowly get up. I grab the clothes that Beth brought me yesterday and move to the bathroom. Before I close the door I look at katie.

“Find a way to wake him up” I say, closing the door. I painfully pull my clothes on. Sitting down on the toilet as I put my shoes on. Suddenly there's a knock on the door then it opens and Jack is standing in the doorway.

“Are you okay i felt your pain”

“I'm okay i was just getting dressed” i say standing up and limping over to him.

He wraps his arms around me and pulls me close. “We need to go to the border and speak with you soon to be ex-alpha” he says pulling me with him.

We start to leave the pack hospital but we get stopped by the doctor.

“Where do you think you're taking her young man? I have not released her,” she snaps.

“We have to meet her old alpha at the border otherwise I myself would make her stay put” Jack says walking past her and out the doors still holding on to me
