chapter three:claiming ceremony

we head back down the path to go back to the pack as we talk about the tree she tells me it's a sacred place only to worship and pay to the moon goddess.we exit the forest as we stop she says I heard your prayer to the moon goddess she told me you wanted a second chance at love I felt the bond the moment I took your plate from you earlier the whole reason I showed you the ancient tree.I look at her with hopeful eyes as I felt a strong feeling for her a feeling I've long forgotten for anyone since my pack was destroyed.

we stand on top of the hill over looking to fortress as the sun raised higher shadow loom over the buildings in fortress I admired the beautiful sight.we should probably head down to the fortress she said with a faint smile I nodded in agreement as we started walking down the hill the entrance had to guards standing watching us approaching as we entered they bowed their heads.we made our way back to the courtyard walking through the streets we talk about uniting the packs and the up coming blood war I have planned for revenge.

we get to the courtyard as we stand in the middle of her soldiers in attention lined up in single file she yells out from this point on we will be preparing for war we follow Alexander into war against the vampires once more.all the soldiers all yelled out in unison shadow moon pack.she turns to me as Carol walks up we need to have a ceremony the full moon will be here in three days and it would perfect for us to have it then rose explained it would be my honor to claim you as my Luna if Carol the elder wolf gives me her blessing.carol's face looked shocked she said well of course to have the alpha king as alpha would be an honor by the moon goddess herself Carol replied.carol took rose to the main hall to get preparations ready for the ceremony Marcus walks up I guess I'll be your beta for now on he says with a smile.yes I guess you will be as I pat his shoulder.

the next day invites were to sent to every door in the fortress they decorated the courtyard for the claiming ceremony and set up two thousand chairs for the pack seating Marcus went over the guest list and made sure everything was in order he wanted to make sure the ceremony was going to be perfect.rose was with Carol as they were choosing a dress for the ceremony and me I had already chosen a suit to wear Marcus had ordered champagne for after the ceremony to celebrate the packs new alpha and luna everyone was excited to finally see the pack have more than just one leader now they would have a leader and a Luna.

as the day of the ceremony came upon us there was a feast everyone sat down together as one pack as we shared a feast together rose sat beside me at the end of the table everyone discussing over themselves of the ceremony and what they think is going to happen but me and rose we talk about the future of the pack and how we picture a world with no vampires I tell her how I want to erase every vampire from existence and hunt down any vampire that remains until the menace is gone.after the feast everyone heads to their seats in the courtyard as night begins to draw near the stars shining bright the moon full and bright shining down the isle I stand there in my suit waiting for the beginning of the ceremony to begin.

In the main hall Carol is finishing dressing Rose for the ceremony Rose asks what if he rejects me elder I'm so nervous right now as she paced back and fourth Carol grabbed her shoulders child the alpha king seems to be very happy with you and as far as I can see he's hiding his feeling for a reason his mind is still replaying the memories of his blood moon pack they are dead you are not she explained he wants revenge on the vampire Kane and you both have felt the fire inside of being fated mates now all there is left is to claim one another you go out there and make me proud claim your alpha Rose Moon I will lead you to the altar but it's up to you what comes next Carol explained to her as Carol grabbed Rose by the hand and led her out of the main hall.
