“We’ve won!” 

“Hoooooooooooooraayyyy!”

“You see that mom we won” The battle between the wyvern and LZT guild ended with the wyvern’s defeat. A loud and joyous cheer echoed throughout the battlefield with everyone celebrating the end of a great battle with festive. 

LZT players group together as friends talked about their awesome achievements in battle, boasting about how many enemies they killed, and how much loot they got. While the remnant of the alliance looks on with admiration and envy in their eyes.

“Thud!” LZT ancestor falls to the ground beaten and exhausted. 

The noisy atmosphere immediately quiets down as everyone pays their respect. Everyone looks at LZT ancestors with awe and admiration. Deep in their heart, they knew that none of this would be possible if not for the old man.

“Grandfather!” Monty’s run towards LZT ancestor side, anxious to see if the latter is alright.

LZT ancestor looked at his grandson and smiled. “Don’t worry, I’m just tired, leave me here to rest. You still have a party to organize.”

“Yes! Grandfather.”  

Although LZT ancestor asked Monty to leave, the latter stayed. He didn’t want his grandfather to be left out all alone while others are out celebrating.

LZT ancestor realized what Monty’s doing and felt warm inside. Deep in his heart, he decided after this is over he will officially name Monty as his successor. 

Monty quickly got bored and retrieved a giant dido bird's legs in his inventory and started munching. Seeing this LZT ancestors face twitch. Monty notices his grandfather's gaze and embarrassingly retrieves another dido bird leg and offers it to LZT ancestor. 

‘I didn’t look at you because I’m jealous of your food, can you read the mood’ LZT ancestor though to himself but still accept Monty’s dido bird’s legs.

The LZT players watch the awkward interactions between the two and the joyous atmosphere once again return.

“Hahahaha that’s our boss, Monty.”

“Yap! Handsome and smart.”

“Like grandfather, like grandson.”

“Boss Monty is so awesome!"

…...

After resting for a while LZT players joyously organized themselves. They are planning to march to Ganiyu village in a spectacular passion, full of grand and majesty like what they saw in the movies. 

Monty came up with this idea and explained it to them, and they all loved it.

LZT ancestor also didn’t disagree with the plan and even thought that it was brilliant as it would earn the guild much prestige.

Everyone is practicing the pose they were going to do once they appear on television when suddenly there’s a loud explosion coming from inside Ganiyu village.

“What was that?” Everyone looked in the direction of the explosion, curious as to what's going on, but when they were about to rush over to find out, their body suddenly shook uncontrollably. 

Everyone felt their heartbeat start to beat fast.

‘Why am I afraid?’.

[Ding! You have been afflicted by dragon fear Lv.32]

Effect: All stats lower by 64 percent.

[Ding! Resistance has been nullified]

LZT ancestor realized something and looked at his mission interface. Suddenly his eyes began to fill with horror.“I-t it can’t be.”

Monty immediately notices the change in LZT ancestor’s expression and asks “What is it, grandfather?” 

LZT ancestor didn't answer. He hurriedly ready his stance and unsheathed his blade. “Everyone to the magic cannon, quick!” 

Everyone was puzzled but quickly followed LZT ancestor. After everything that happens everyone has developed an immense trust and admiration for the old man.

‘Damn it! How can I be so careless?’ LZT ancestor curse himself. 

The battle with the wyvern has been way too intense. He was both exhausted physically and mentally. He cannot be blamed that he forgot to check the mission notification following the wyvern’s death. To his defense, there is no way someone can survive being killed twice.

‘How did that bastard survive?’ LZT ancestor thought. 

LZT guild runs frantically toward the magic cannons when a familiar roar sounded from one of the craters.

The atmosphere suddenly feels heavy. 

Everyone can’t help but stop for a moment and look at the direction of the terrifying sound.

‘No, not again.’ 

The thought of the boss would once again recover his health and increase his power can’t help but cross everyone's mind.

As they look at the crater where the wyvern was, they realize that the wyvern's body is gone missing.

Everyone sweat pours through their faces as their worst nightmare has been realized. 

It was at this moment that they felt a gust of wind pass through them but before they could see what it was, they saw one of their own falls down with his head gone.

And a monster who looks no different to a knight is standing atop of his headless corpse.

The monster held no sword nor a shield in his hand or wore armor in his body. He is covered entirely in dragon scale. His whole being excluded terrifying power that no weapon can accomplish. He does not need a weapon as he himself is the weapon. 

No one moves as the monster looks at them with his two indifferent eyes or more accurately no one can move. Everyone is frozen in fear, their vision suddenly turns black, and every one of their senses has been cut off except for the feeling of fear. Except for the figure that is slowly walking towards them they cannot hear, smell, feel, or see anything.

The village chief was scary, yes and the wyvern was terrifying but they are nothing more than Childs’ play compared to this monster. 

The monster in front of them is something else entirely. He is someone that manages to break his race limit.

Dragon Warrior Bard  [LV. ???]

Bard is a high-level wyvern who became strong enough to break his race limit and evolve into a real dragon. Unfortunately, before he could do so his territory was forcefully taken by Smaug, a Dragon youngling. Due to him possessing amazing strength, Smaug took a liking to him and decided to turn him into his Dragon Warrior. After obtaining Smaug's strength, he gained power far above what he has as a wyvern. Thankful for his master's gift, he swore eternal loyalty to him, vowing to protect Smaug treasure even long after the latter disappeared.

“You dare steal my master treasure! Die!” In the instant Bard made a move, he disappeared and appeared in the middle of LZT players. Everyone caught within Bard’s movement got their head mutilated.  

No one saw what happened. Everyone’s head just exploded.

“What!”

“Mommy where is my mommy.”

“No, no, no, no, I give up, I don’t want to do this anymore.” Everyone has faced many terrifying things in Genesys before but none of them has been more gruesome than this. Brains are splattered all over the place and headless corpses filled the area like some kind of horror movie.

“Die you, thieves!”

LZT ancestor looked at the Dragon Warrior puzzled, ‘What treasure? We didn’t steal any treasure.’

“We didn’t steal anything you monster!” Monty said, shouting at the Dragon warrior. The latter looks at Monty with anger in his eyes.

Seeing this LZT ancestor shouted, “No! Stop!” 

But before his word can reach Monty, the Dragon Warrior already arrives in front of Monty.

“Puchie!” The Dragon Warrior punched Monty’s chest, ripping his hearts out.

“You dare lie!” The Dragon Warrior looks at Monty’s corpse, stomping his head, squashing it like a watermelon.

“You bastard! you'll pay for that!” Seeing his grandson die a very gruesome death, LZT ancestor is furious.

“Fire all the magic cannons!” Lucky for LZT ancestor the mana gathering formation is still in effect so the magic cannon is fully charged.

Several beams of mana fired toward Bard but the latter just looked at it like it was a toy. He didn’t even bother to move.

The magic cannon hits Bard but the dragon scale covering his entire body just tanks it like it was nothing. 

‘s**t!’ As LZT ancestor thinks of a way to defeat Bard the latter arrives in front of him.

Bard reached out his hand, choking LZT ancestors.

LZT ancestor struggled to break free but because he still suffering from the aftereffects of his battle with the wyvern, his mana and stamina are still at rock bottom. He tried slashing the dragon warrior with his sword but it didn’t do anything.

Seeing the end. He retrieved something in his inventory.

[Anti-Mana Bomb]

A bomb developed by the tinker, a brilliant magic engineer who broke the limit of knowledge. Utilizing a new element called anti-mana it can produce a large explosion strong enough to obliterate a city.

LZT ancestors hope to not use this item as it may level the entire Ganiyu village including Mt. Seranide making all their effort worth nothing but the appearance of Dragon Warrior Bard made conquering Ganiyu Village impossible. LZT ancestor feels that even if they are on their peak and all their magic canon somehow manage to hit Bard it would still not be enough to bring the latter down.

“Goodbye monster!” LZT Ancestor forces a smile while looking Bard in the eyes. He then removes the pin that prevents the bomb from exploding.

Feeling an impending crisis. Bard quickly rips the bomb out of LZT ancestor's hand and shoves it to the latter's throat. LZT ancestor struggles to keep his mouth closed but Bard just rips his jaw apart. He then strengthened his grip on LZT ancestor’s throat, breaking his neck. 

LZT ancestor immediately loses all the feeling in his body, the player that brought down the wyvern from the sky, the player that accomplishes the impossible dies just like that.

But even though LZT ancestor already died, Bard didn’t just let go of him, No, he tosses his body to the sky like a baseball.

“Boooom!” The bomb inside LZT ancestor explodes.

All the players look in horror as the blood of LZT ancestor, the one they deeply trust and admire rain upon them. His Innard and intestine fall to the ground like spaghetti. 

But before LZT players can mourn LZT ancestor’s death, a black ball that looks a lot like a black hole forms above the sky, vaporizing anything that it touches. Even light can’t escape it’s might and gets destroyed. 

The sky turns black as Bard massacres the LZT guild as if even heaven had abandoned the poor guild.

The players of LZT guild continue to die one after the other in the most gruesome way possible.

“Run!”

“Mommy, I don’t want to die.”

“Please go away, go away!”

…..

In the real world, as the LZT guild is being massacred, Leon is drinking hot cocoa, watching tv, and enjoying the company of his sister. Completely detached from what is happening in Genesys.

“So how is school?” 

“Easy!”

“That’s my sister!”
