While Leon is busy looting the village chief treasury, the battle for Ganiyu village is entering its final stage.

The ingenuity and preparedness of LZT ancestor prove to be too much for the alliance to handle. LZT guild managed to easily kill the alliance leader and all of its elite in one fell swoop, completely crippling the alliance. 

The village guards were also been dealt with and the village defenses disabled. 

The only thing that the LZT guild left to do now was to kill the village chief and their conquest would be complete. 

But that's proven to be easier said than done. 

They blasted that monster with more than a thousand magic cannons in the face. More than enough to eliminate any other normal boss in Genesys ten times over.

That should have been enough for them to win

But reality is cruel.

When everyone thought that the battle was over, the village chief suddenly transformed into a wyvern, and completely restored his health, catching them off guard. 

‘Is that even allowed?’ The LZT players thought with grave looks on their faces. 

This is not the first time they encounter a boss that can transform. Strong bosses in Genesys often have a second phase which gives them an increase in power but they only did just that. It was the first time that a boss suddenly recovered his max HP. Everyone feels very cheated. 

How can they defeat a monster that can completely restore himself?

LZT players are trying to organize themselves, when the wyvern opened its mouth, unleashing a powerful breath attack upon them.

"Quickly, take cover!" LZT ancestor said, quickly ordering dozens of golem to block the attack.

The attack instantly melted the golem into a pile of mud along with their core. Leaving LZT players defenseless and can't do anything but look in horror at the monster before their eyes. 

The wyvern has sharp claws made of silver and hard scales like armor protecting its body. It has an agile neck like that of a snake and an enormous build that towers the LZT golems.

[Wyvern]

A high-class member of the aerial lizard clan. Often mistaken by humans as a dragon due to their distinct similarity in appearance. Although they are not considered as a real dragon due to their weak affinity to mana. It can still use abilities similar to that of dragons such as magic breaths and polymorph. 

The Wyvern's tail moves as fast as an arrow, piercing dozens of LZT players.

LZT ancestor looked in pain as several of his guild members turned into a kebab. “f**k! Quick rearrange the formation, bring that bastard down.”

The LZT golems quickly move closer trying to encircle the wyvern while LZT players move back and provide support. 

After sacrificing several golems, the LZT guild finally manages to complete the encirclement of the wyvern. 

"Earth magicians focus on pinning that monster to the ground. Everyone fires everything you got."

The ground beneath the wyvern turns into a hand grabbing its four legs, immobilizing it.

"Fire!" A rain of spell and skill hurl towards the wyvern but the latter just snicker while looking at LZT ancestor. 

It then opens its bat-like wings and soars through the sky.

“No! Stop!” LZT ancestor tried to stop his subordinate but it was too late.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!" Dust quickly fills the air as hundreds of magic cannon fire simultaneously.

Several more golem is caught on the blast and crumble to the ground. 

"Is it over?" one LZT Player asked.

"No! look at the sky," a player said looking at the sky. 

"Is it a bird? Is it a plane?"

"F*ck you! read the mood." 

Before the LZT player can realize what just happened, the wyvern dives down with a speed faster than a speeding bullet. LZT players can only hear the wind whistle as the wyvern demolished everything on its path.

"Quickly fire!" 

Magic cannons, spell, and skills fly through the air filling the sky with holes but the wyvern proved to be far too agile. With just a flap of its wings, it can transverse several meters as if it was teleporting. Although a couple of magic cannons managed to hit the wyvern, it's hard to scale managed to block most of the attack, and wasn’t able to leave even a single scratch on its body.

'Goddammit! Is this monster immortal?' LZT ancestor curses inwardly.

“Holy s**t! How can there be such a monster protecting a village, come on it’s just a village?” LZT players complain. The battle became way too intense; everyone was tired physically and mentally. Some players even collapse due to a lack of stamina. 

“Don’t fire aimlessly, predict its movements, conserve your mana and stamina.” LZT ancestor said but no matter what they did, the wyvern remains unaffected. 

The golems continue to fall under its might as LZT players can’t do anything but watch as that monster kills them a dozen players at a time.

It’s only been a couple of minutes since the wyvern appearance but the LZT guild has already lost more than three hundred of its golems and over a thousand players. It will not be long before all of the LZT golems are destroyed and the guild would be left defenseless. If that happens LZT guild would not be able to do anything but accept their faith.

“Damn!” LZT ancestor looked at the wyvern while clenching his fist. This is the final obstacle they had to overcome to have their own territory and be considered as a superpower in Genesys. 

He's been preparing for it for a long time now ever since the first players conquer a territory. He was well aware of the numerous failures that came before him, especially about Pantheon's failed conquest, and though he had prepared enough.

If it was any normal village his preparation might have been sufficient. It just so happens that Ganiyu Village is a little special. 

'I need to bring that bastard to the ground.'

Knowing that he has to do something quick, LZT ancestor decided to risk everything.

“Ready the magic cannons and prepare to fire on my mark.” 

“Priest, mage, any class that can cast buffs. Lay it all on me.”

LZT ancestor jumps into one of the golem's arms and takes a deep breath. Several buffs rain upon him showering him with strength.

[Strengthening]

[Blessing of a loyal warrior]

[Breath of the forest]

[Strength of Vermillion]

[Will of Dee]

‘It’s all or nothing now’

[Physical Strengthening Lv. 50 Activated]

Effect: Increase strength by 55%

[Speed Strengthening Lv. 50 Activated]

Effect: Increase Agility by 55%

After casting several of his own buffs, LZT ancestor focuses himself. He will only have one chance, one chance to bring that monster to the ground. If he fails he will die and the whole conquest will fail.

LZT ancestor overcharges one of the golem core and orders it to toss him in the air. The golem immediately exploded as he shot through the sky like a cannon bolt.

The wyvern although not adept with mana as the dragon immediately notices mana concentrate around LZT Ancestor and can’t help but look down.

“Hahahaha. An ant who doesn’t even know how to fly dares to challenge me. The sky is my domain. Here I am the king.” 

Everyone stared at the sky hoping for a miracle.

Monty looked intently at the sky praying for his grandfather's success.“Go, grandfather, you can do it!” He can’t help but blame himself for everything that is happening.

The distance between LZT ancestors and the wyvern quickly grows shorter and shorter. LZT ancestor holds his sword tightly in his arm transferring all his mana through it.

[Mana Blade LV.62] The bread and butter of the magic swordsman class, by transferring mana to the blade, it can strengthen it to an imaginable degree. There is no limit. If sufficient mana is transferred, it can cut through anything.

The sword on LZT ancestors' hand quickly turns blue while simultaneously burning red, symbolizing that other than mana LZT ancestor also transferring his health for more power.

Using health to power [Mana blade] is an extremely painful process and can damage the user's concentration but LZT ancestors at this moment didn’t feel anything. He was completely focused on the wyvern and had blocked everything around him. His hearing, his smell, his feeling, even his eyes can only see one thing, the arrogant monster above him. 

The wyvern didn’t attack LZT ancestor; it already knew that the latter couldn't touch him. Even if it didn’t do anything but flap his wings the latter would fall and die. He didn’t perceive LZT ancestor as a threat but an ant at the end of his rope.

What it wants was not to kill LZT ancestor, no it will be a mercy if it does that. What he wants is for the ant before him to feel the hopelessness of knowing in the end all his effort is futile.

The wyvern didn’t move until LZT ancestors passed him by, making it appear that he just missed him by a hairbreadth.

“No! Grandpa misses, quickly anyone save ancestor,” Monty screams frantically as LZT ancestor plummets to his death.

The wyvern looks at LZT ancestor with a mocking smile; even moving closer to him as if taunting him. ‘Close but not close enough.’

LZT ancestor ignored the wyvern and continued charging his sword with mana and health. His sword eventually lost luster but it doesn’t mean it weakened; on the contrary, it achieved perfection. 

The wyvern immediately felt something crawl into its heart, something it didn’t expect he would feel facing an ant. He felt fear.

It opens its mouth and tries to burn LZT ancestor to oblivion but it was already too late. LZT ancestor moves, stomping his foot in the air, jumping away from the wyvern mounts and into the latter wings. The numerous buffs on LZT ancestor provide him with unimaginable speed and power far stronger than the wyvern can ever predict.

[Double Jump Lv. Max]

LZT ancestor without even looking at the wyvern surprise face draws his sword.

[Quick draw Lv. 43] 

Effect: Increase the speed of hand by 48% when drawing a weapon.

With the effect of quick draw, LZT ancestor slashes his sword towards one of the wyvern's wings. His sword became so fast that the wyvern didn’t even feel a thing as the sword cuts through.

[Triple Jump Lv. Max] 

Once again, stepping into the air, LZT ancestor arrived in the wyvern's other wing. The wyvern feeling immense dread tried to fly away but it wasn’t able to before LZT ancestor makes his move.   

“Fall arrogant son of a b*itch!”  LZT ancestor said with a solemn look on his face.

[Quick s***h Lv. 51]

Effect: Increase the speed of the attack by 102% and increase the damage by 204%

With the final strike of LZT ancestor’s sword, the wings of the wyvern fall simultaneously like everything is pre-arranged.

“Wahahhhhhhhh!” The wyvern wails in pain as it plummets to the ground.

[Quadruple Jump LV. 4] 

Stomping his foot one final time, LZT ancestor arrived at the wyvern's back. Using what was left with his mana blade, he plunges his sword through the wyvern’s back.

“Now! Fire everything!” Holding his sword tightly, LZT ancestor ordered his subordinate to open fire.

Over five hundred magic cannons simultaneously fire at the defenseless wyvern's face, who can’t do anything but feel the full power of the blast.

“Booom!” The wyvern falls to the ground with LZT ancestor still stuck on its back.

Everyone watches as the wyvern falls, there is no doubt in their mind that it was dead. 

LZT guild has won this battle.

“Grandfather!” Monty runs toward the crash site trying to see if his grandfather is okay.

The landing of the wyvern caused dust to fill the air.

“Cough! Caught!” LZT ancestors walk out the crater with blood all over his body. He walked toward his guild member.  Raising his hand, he shouted. “We have won!”
