THIRTEEN

With the appearance of the village guard, the whole battle quickly tips into the alliance favor. The player of the alliance only has to keep LZT players occupied while the village guard comes over for the kill. 

Being heavily outnumbered, LZT players are having trouble keeping track of the village guard who is hiding amidst the sea of players. 

When Leon arrived together with Monty and his crew, almost 30 LZT elites had been killed. The situation is not looking good for the LZT guild. 

LZT guild plan is to use a surprise attack to catch the player of Ganiyu Village off guard, they want to capture the village as quickly as possible before most of the players got online, but due to unforeseen circumstances, the plan got haywire. 

Although the arrival of Monty's crew alleviated the pressure on the LZT elites. More and more players in Ganiyu village are beginning to go online. Not long after even Monty’s crew got overrun by the alliance player.

"Boss Monty this is bad, we're getting outnumbered 15 to 1." 

"Don't worry, we have the ancestor," Monty said, reassuring his crew. He has undying faith in his grandfather and true enough LZT ancestor really did have everything under control, just as the alliance thought that they had the upper hand LZT ancestor finally made his move. 

"Bring out the golems, '' LZT ancestor said. 

One hundred rock golem spring out of the ground following the LZT ancestor command. 

"Dad, isn't that a little too early? The village chief is not here yet." Mustacheman asked. 

LZT ancestors look at the one hundred rock golem that starts rampaging on the battlefield and said. "Don't worry it's just a hundred golem it's not like we can only purchase this much."

Mustache man thought for a second. 'Is that the reason why there are several million missing in the company's account? Dad really put a lot into this little hobby of his.' 

The rock golems easily squash the member of the alliance. Every step it took harvested a life, every time it threw a punch leaves a whole crater of bodies in the ground. Just like that the war once again tips in LZT’s favor.

Leon looks happily at the scene. He’s having the time of his life, picking up equipment left and right. 

‘War is really where the money is.’

The alliance force once again faces a disaster. They try throwing every magic they have into the golem but the latter just regenerates. 

Golem is known to be one of the hardest monsters to deal with. It was created using the slime family as a model using advanced magic engineering. As long as its core remains intact it will keep on regenerating no matter how many times its body gets destroyed. It's only known drawback is it is very expensive to make and only a handful of people can make them.

The alliance forces are on the verge of being defeated but still, the village chief didn't show any sign of making an appearance. This only means one thing, the village still has tricks on his sleeves. As it once was the home of a dragon Ganiyu village is unlike any normal village. It was bound to have more than just dwarves weapons. 

"Prepare the Ballista," The village guard leader said. 

20 ballista comes out of the village gate operated by the village militia. The ballista quickly aims at the LZT’s golem. 

"Fire!" Twenty ballista bolts hurl towards LZT rock golems. The moment this bolt hits the golem, it explodes exposing the golem core.

“Boom!” 

The guard leader didn’t waste any moment and quickly orders the other guard to throw their spear at the exposed golem core. “Now!”. 

And just like that, twenty unbeatable rock golem dies.

Leon is pretty close in one of the golem and has witnessed everything pretty clearly. 'That's a dwarf made ballista, and elves handmade explosive bolts. This village is truly rich.' He thought to himself as he picked a spear laying on the ground.

A spear made by a dwarf using common iron even though it was made using common minerals due to the forger's incredible skills the weapon manages to break this world limit. 

A magnificent creation of a blacksmith who loves his craft.

In Genesys, there is something called a limit. Like how a monster can’t get stronger beyond its race set limit or how a player can’t get past their class limitation; it goes the same for weapons. Weapons made using iron can’t surpass weapons made using mithril. Everyone and everything in Genesys is subjected to this limit. Some are stuck with it while some never reach it. Only a few manage to break it and those few that did all defy common sense.  

Leon looked at the spear in his hand and smiled. He just hit the jackpot. 'Damn if a whole army is equipped with this thing, it can easily decimate an entire kingdom. No wonder dwarves became extinct.' Leon though. 

There’s a reason why dwarves seek dragon protection despite possessing the strongest weapons in the world. The dwarves only have love in making weapons but have no joy in using them. They are a pacifist race that is being hunted by the other race due to their craftsmanship.

In the long history of the dwarves, only Genshi Khan is known to possess the quality of a fighter, her and his dwarves army form a crusade to annihilate anyone who dares to hunt the dwarven race.

The destruction of twenty rock golem didn’t faze LZT ancestors one bit. "Bring out the magic cannons"

Following his order, dozens of magic cannons carried by horses came out of the forest. 

"The f*ck! How much money did LZT spend on this war?" The alliance army leader is shocked by LZT riches. 

"Damn it! All men with me! We cannot let those cannon enter the battlefield." The alliance leader said, leading his army of players to destroy LZT magic cannon.

"Prepare to Interc-" Seeing the alliance movement, Mustacheman tries to order his guild member to obstruct them when LZT ancestor stops him."Don't, let them come."

Mustache man is puzzled but LZT ancestor just looks at him, having no intention to explain.

Noticing that the LZT guild has no intention to stop them, the alliance leader became troubled. 'Are they not going to stop us?’

He was having a bad feeling about this and was about to order his army to stop when LZT ancestor's voice rang out on his ear. 

"Goodbye," Dozen magic cannons fire upon the alliance army instantly disintegrating them. 

LZT ancestors never planned to use magic cannon to destroy the ballista, although it was strong it takes time for it to recharge, and by the time it got ready, the latter would have already destroyed it. 

From the start, LZT ancestors already predicted the alliance army to charge in to destroy the magic cannon so he explicitly ordered his guild members to recharge it and await their arrival. 

‘What a clever old man.’ Leon thought looking at LZT ancestor. 

Now that most of the alliance forces are dead and left without a leader. There are no more players to impede LZT from conquering Ganiyu Village. 

"Charge," LZT ancestor said. 

Following LZT ancestor lead, the LZT guild began bulldozing their way to Ganiyu village. Without players to hide the village guard, the LZT elites easily kill them. Even if they are equipped with amazing weapons there is only so much a level 20 can do. 

"Hehehe" Leon is happily picking up loots left and right. 

He looks at the porter pack in his back and smiles 'Almost full' 

The remaining Alliance forces quickly notice Leon and the giant bag in his back. In their eyes, he was a juicy target. 

"Look at that newbie."

“That's a big bag he was carrying.”

“Let's kill him and take it.”

"Okay, the alliance leader is dead anyway and we’re already destined to lose.”

“Better earn something.”

30 players move toward Leon having malicious intentions. 

"Protect Leon! '' Noticing the alliance player approaching, Monty quickly orders.

Following his order, dozens of his crew form a line to protect Leon.

But to their surprise, the latter dropped the bag he was carrying and ran away. "Don't hurt me, keep the bag, just don't kill me." 

Seeing Leon run away, Monty became furious. "You f*cking son of a b*tch! Don't let me catch you or I'll kill you!" 

"Hahahaha, that guy runs away." 

“What a coward.”

"Get the bag!"

The forces of the alliance broke free of Monty's crew and rushed toward the bag. 

Leon looked back with a smile, retrieving a rock in his inventory. The rock is the same worthless rock that the rock slime drops upon death. The one with no use other than lighting up a campfire or as a simple firecracker. 

Leon holds the rock tight and overcharges it with mana. When the rock glows bright enough, he tosses it to the porter pack brimming with items.

The rock hits the porter pack and much to the player's confusion, they hear Leon's voice echoing in the distance.

"Hasta la vista baby!" The porter pack exploded, taking all the players near it to hell.
