9. worse to an epic day

when I thought I had finally everything in control this had to happen.
I see a pair of shoes in front of me .
"I will pay for the surgery , if you agree to what I say "
I heard a voice . I looked up to see none other than Sebastian Philip.

Sebastian POV
Today is the worse. I just got a call from hospital and the doctors are saying moms condition became more serious. she is in coma for last 7 years.
i managed this empire on my own and grew it into a multi billion empire.
today i had a meeting with MR rhinestone at his office. i am exhausted . i will just go to the company and check if everything's going alright. I drove my jaguar to my parking slot and as I was walking towards the elevator . Someone just dashed into me.
Before I get a chance to speak she picked up whatever fell out of her hands and continued running.
I realized it is liya , as I saw her face when she was picking up her stuff .
She didn't even acknowledge me and what is she even doing here in my office?
With all these questions I entered I asked the security of they knew her. They said she works in the company.
I asked Milina for her records and found out that she is working in my company as a content writer. Why is she working in our company? Isn't she the spoiled little girl of Mr Lorenz? Anyways I think I should get back to work.
Its around 10:30 , f**k. I lost track of time , Its almost over , I'll ask Milina to send it to Mr rhinestone.
Great now I can go home.
I heard few voices as I got down the lift. Isn't everyone supposed to leave by now and the overtime workers mostly work in 3rd or 4th floor . So who is here ?
Before I could check someone again dashed into me. I recognized that someone to be liya but I think she didn't even give me a glance. She again picked up her stuff and started running again.
This time I noticed her blouse to be covered with few blood stains and she smelled like she came from a hospital.
I don't know why but I followed her .
I saw her going to one of the jewellery stores I owned. She was selling something and took cash for it in exchange.
But why does she need so much cash and why is she selling to get that cash?
She left and I wanted to follow her but before that I called the manager of the store and asked him to send what she sold to my house.
I followed her and reached city hospital.
What is she doing here? Does she know that mom is here? But how ? Mom's in VIP ward and no one except very few people know about my mom. To the world my mom died 7 years ago.
I followed her further and found her depositing the money .
I saw a 10 year child taken to the operation theatre and liya requesting the doctor to save him.
I haven't seen her like this , last time we met , she was almost a complete b***h to me.
Something in me felt bad for her. But my brain still saying she deserves the pain. She was shriveled up and crying the whole time. I noticed her for around 30 mins and her tears were flowing like water falls.
The light of the operation theatre turned green and she immediately rubbed her tears and waited for the doctor.
The doctor came out and told her about the child's condition.
Who is that child anyway? And why is she acting like this? Doesn't matter anyways.
The doctor said they needed to perform one more surgery immediately.
I saw her expression changing .
I saw her begging the doctor to save her brothers life. She asked the doctor to start the surgery and told she will arrange the money.
The nurse came with few papers and she signed them.
I saw her calling someone , but I guess no one picked up.
Then she called someone. I heard her speaking. I think she was talking to her uncle. She suddenly cut the call and again tears started to flow through her eyes.
I felt bad for her. But I know she deserves it but the child in there doesn't.
I think I can use this opportunity to plan my revenge on her.
Even she should know what her family as caused me. We were friends back then but she dared to slap me when we were kids.
But what her family did. She deserves more pain than this.
And I will be the one to give it to her.
It has to be me .
It will be me.
Suddenly a plan cooked up in my mind. Get ready my sweet liya.
I went to her.
She was on the floor crying her eyes out.
If she really needs money so much and actually loves the child in there she would definitely agree.
Because it doesn't look like she has any other options left. Let's give it a try.
"I will pay for the surgery , if you agree to what I say " I said this to her.
She looked up at me immediately. Surprise visible in her eyes.
"Yes , I agree . I will agree to whatever you say , please save him. " She said sobbing .her tears falling on my shoes.
"Get up" I said and she immediately got up .
She is short. Like compared to me she is very petite .
I pay for the surgery and the surgery begun after few mins. She was still crying .
" Can you just stop making noise?" I said and she became quite , tears were still running on her face.
I checked my phone for sometime
The surgery was going on, she was awfully quite and that irked me a bit.
I turned towards her to see , she isn't awake . I thought she slept.
But after sometime the doctor came out. I tried to wake her up but she didn't wake up. I immediately called a nurse to take her to a room and called a doctor.
The doctor who performed the surgery then came to me.
" The child is safe but is very weak.
We must keep him in observation for more 12 hrs to check if there are any problems and there are chances that the child may slip into a coma."
He said and went away.
I went to the room where liya was.
" Doctor how is she ? And what happened?" I asked
" Don't worry Mr Philip she is fine. But very weak . I am pretty sure she didn't have anything today and because of that and I think she was exhausted. This lead her to lose consciousness , she will be awake soon, ease don't worry " the doctor said and went away.
I went out to get a coffee. When I came back. I saw liya who was struggling to remove the syringe and finally she removed and started walking out I think she did not see me and she dashed into me again.
"Where are you going sweetheart , remember we had a deal " I said with a smirk.
