Chapter 2: Shopping

It was already night, and Lili remained in her room. The cramps had increased slightly, and her menstruation had started, but the earlier image continued to linger in her mind. "How would it feel to have him inside me? He's so big, very different from Mike," she whispered to herself. Mike had been a crush a few months ago, and she had lost her virginity to him. "Lili..." Suddenly, she was startled to hear Diogo's voice just behind the door, but told him to come in. "How are you feeling?" Diogo asked as he entered her room. "My lower abdomen still hurts," she replied, feeling a bit embarrassed. "I brought you some chocolate," Diogo said, offering her a beautiful box he was holding in his hands. "Thank you," she said, accepting the box and placing it on the bed before giving him a hug. "I'm just feeling very emotional today," she whispered. "It's normal. Your mother used to be like that too. If you want, you can stay home tomorrow. By the way, I've made a decision about which beach we're going to," Diogo said. "Where are we going?" she asked, taking a bite of one of the chocolates. "Miami, there are beautiful beaches there." "Thank you! I really want to visit Palm Beach. " she said. "Really? Well, that's where we're going," he said, pretending to be surprised. "Oh, you already knew. I had already told you, you fool," she laughed. "I have a good memory. Tomorrow, I'll try to buy tickets and reserve hotel rooms." At that moment, Lili had an idea to get closer to him or at least catch a glimpse of the body that had captivated her attention so much. "Book a single room," she said. "Just one room?" Diogo asked. "Yes, you know what? During the day, we can enjoy the beaches, and at night, we can indulge in sweets. We can spend the evenings watching series, maybe even have a pajama party. Just like you and my mother used to do when I was a child. I want to relive those old times," she said sweetly. "Okay, I'll book a family room with two beds. After all, whoever says she's going to be eighteen, she still acts like a little girl," he chuckled, poking her belly. "Can you take me shopping tomorrow for some things we need for the trip?" she asked. "I thought you would prefer to stay at home." "If my cramps are still bothering me, then I'll stay home. But if I'm feeling better, I want to go shopping," she replied to Diogo. "I understand. I'll take you to the mall in the afternoon," he agreed. The next day, as planned, he took her to the mall. The first store she wanted to visit was an underwear store. Lili loved her body and enjoyed buying lingerie that accentuated her curves, even if no one else saw it. She did it for herself, to feel good. "I can wait outside," Diogo said, feeling somewhat embarrassed. She remained silent for a few moments before speaking up. "Of course not. Help me choose. I love getting opinions. I usually have Livia with me, but she's very busy this week and won't be able to help me. So, it'll be you," she said. Diogo let out a sigh but ultimately accepted her request. Until then, Lili hadn't planned anything specific, but something in her mind told her that she should try to bring him closer differently, to strengthen the bond they had. "Look at this, black is my favorite color. It looks divine against my skin tone," she said, showing him a lace lingerie set in which the panties were almost non-existent, being so small. "Don't you think this is too small?" Diogo questioned. "You're right, this is small. The bra won't fit me. I wear a smaller size," she replied, searching through the racks until she found one that matched her size. "I wasn't just talking about the size, well, I was... I mean, look, it's very small. There's hardly any fabric, and it's transparent," he said, examining the lingerie. "I don't see a reason for you to wear these kinds of pieces," Diogo said. "If you're worried that I want to wear this for someone else, don't worry. It's for myself. I like pieces like this. I feel beautiful when I look in the mirror, you know," she said, adjusting the collar of her shirt and casually undoing a button. "If that's the case, I still think it's a bit too revealing, but if it makes you feel good..." Diogo responded. "Listen, Diogo, which color do you prefer: red or white?" she asked, showing him two sets that seemed even more transparent than the previous one. "Red might be too much. I think white would suit you better," Diogo suggested. "How many days will we be staying there?" asked Lili. "We'll leave on Tuesday morning and return on Sunday." "Okay, so can you buy me lingerie for each day we're staying?" she asked, grabbing his arm. "Have I ever denied you anything?" Diogo laughed. She celebrated with a few jumps, then gave him a hug and a kiss on the cheek. "You can also have a different bikini for each day at the beach," he added, chuckling. "Thanks, Diogo!" "Come on, today you can choose whatever you want. I'll wait for you over there," he said, pointing to a bench inside the store. "Okay!" She eagerly went around the store, selecting everything that caught her eye. Meanwhile, Diogo sat on the bench as a saleswoman approached him. "Can I help you with anything?" the saleswoman asked. "No, I'm just waiting for someone," Diogo replied politely. "While waiting, it would be nice to have a girlfriend or wife to give gifts to," the saleswoman remarked. "Well, I don't have anyone like that," Diogo replied. "What a waste," the saleswoman commented. He simply smirked in response. Meanwhile, from a distance, Lili noticed that Diogo was engaged in a conversation with the saleswoman. Since she had already chosen everything she wanted to buy, she decided to approach Diogo. "I've already chosen everything I wanted," she said, sitting next to him and wrapping her arm around his shoulders. "Great! Take it to the counter, I'll take care of paying," Diogo replied. With that, she stood up and followed what he said. Soon, he also got up, and the saleswoman couldn't help but comment, "You said you didn't have a girlfriend..." "I don't have one. She's my stepdaughter," Diogo clarified. "Oh, so you're married." "No, I'm a widower..." he shook his head. "So young to become a widower. By the way, your stepdaughter is a very beautiful woman." "Yes, she's also very intelligent and hardworking. I'm proud of her. Anyway, I need to go," Diogo said to the saleswoman. But before Diogo could leave, the saleswoman handed him something. "Here's my number. If you want, give me a call," she said, offering him a card. They exchanged goodbyes, and he went towards the cashier where Lili was waiting for him. After they paid for their purchases, they decided to take a leisurely stroll around the mall. Lili also bought a few additional items like flip-flops, sunscreen, and a new suitcase to replace the one with a damaged wheel. Once they arrived home, Lili neatly arranged the bags in the closet and then collapsed onto her bed. She had made a decision and was willing to do whatever it took to attain what she desired so deeply. "I have to try this man," she whispered to herself. She was very obstinate and was determined to do whatever she could to get it.
